I'm referring to the front office here.

Obviously the comparison between those two QB's is ridiculous.

I enjoy Bills football. I will continue to watch. However, I would like a championship someday.

Me too.

But I'm not going sprial down rabbit holes or whip myself online if they don't.

I watched them lose the superbowls too. This is nothing.

He has shown no ability to seperate, and he has trouble catching the ball in contested situations.

Really bad combo.

I was running the numbers for our receivers and I saw the same trend I saw with Gabe Davis. Allen was at his WORST when he targeted Gabe, and he is at his worst when he targets Coleman.

Allen was only 50% completion percentage when throwing to Coleman this year.

He was 76% throwing to Shakir, 67% throwing to Knox, 72% throwing to Ty, 67% to Samuel, 84% to Cook, etc.

50% to Coleman is insanely low.

It's a rookie... and his average target depth is 15.2 yards.  Cook's is 0.9 yards.  Knox is 8.8.  Shakir is 5.5.  Samuel is 4.6.  Ty was 8.2.

And its much of the same... gabe complaints that pretty much came down to the same explanations of him being a downfield target, and diggs and others getting the underneath stuff.

This is the key argument.

Us as fans can go back and forth. And we can all agree to disagree.

I want a championship and I don't see that coming.

This regime has proven that they don't have what it takes to get there. Yes being good is way better than 17 years of garbage. But enough is enough and it's time for a change.

another quote along with that, "what got you here won't get you there."  Different leadership skills are needed for different tasks.  McD is perhaps a HOF team builder, but he and Bean can't get over the hump to a Championship.

1.  Lose the attitude with "save it."

2.  Your wrong about KC.  OC Tre Smith, Pro Bowler, taken in the 5th round in 2021.  C Creed Humphrey, Pro-Bowler also in 2021.  (KC needed to fix its OL, they did.  We needed to fix our DL, and our GM reached for picks in the 1st and 2nd, KC took BPA and solved their issues).  Oh, KC also selected their D captain Nick Bolton in 2021.   Should I continue, okay:  Trent McDuffie in 2022; WR Rasheed Rice, 2nd round.  Also worth noting that after KC traded who was perhaps the top WR in the NFL (Tyreek Hill), rather than make excuses, they went out and won the SB.  Fans like you would apparently are happy just to make the playoffs after losing a top talent.

3.  This KC is All-Time great is another BS excuse.  You know why they are so freaking great, they run into us in the playoffs, who are outcoached and somewhat outmanned due to McD/Bean.

Good is the enemy of great.  You're happy with "good."

Preaching to the choir

Same excuses as Gabe.

We will see what the future unfolds but he has to get better and fast.

Right - I also absolutely hate all the hindsight takes.

Well the chiefs took humphrey!! Where was Center on the bills priority list that year?  Does he start over morse?  does he sit for a year?

We should have traded up for McDuffie and Thomas!! With who? What would you have offered to do so?

Why didn't we sit pat for laporta instead of kincaid?! Because of draft grades and projections.

Folks are also forgetting that the Chiefs had been building that team to success prior to Mahomes getting there.  They had a good foundation and team and Alex Smith as QB.  They concluded he wasn't what they needed, and moved on to Mahomes.  Beane and McDermott started with very little foundation and a bare cupboard...and still McD got to the playoffs in his first season.  They have been building and getting closer.  The Chiefs have only needed to add a piece here and there.

It's obvious that Beane isn't satisfied that they are still not quite there.  He said the emotions are still a bit raw to be talking about any specific changes at this point, but they will evaluate things and go from there.

If he keeps whiffing on our top draft picks, they're more than likely never going to be able to close the gap though.

Like Diggs?

Do you think Diggs was ever on the level in big moments as Hill, Kelce and Jones?

Looking back, he was never that guy.

Not much to take from that PC. People are overreacting to what Beane says as if it actually means anything

I do like that he called out the officiating.

His comments on Keon and Dalton are concerning.

Sounds like they want Dalton getting in better shape/stronger.

And he sounded very disappointed in Coleman and his attitude and play after coming back from injury.

Playoff Diggs is around Keon's level.   Complete disappearing act.

  • Process changed the title to Beane/McDermott End of season press conferences (Beane live now, Sean at 2pm)

Hollins had the kind of season I was hoping from Coleman. (Clutch wise)

Also, I’m excited to see what a healthy Curtis Samuel can do in this offense.

Chris Jones - 2nd round pick

Travis Kelce - 3rd round pick

George Karlaftis - 2nd round pick

Trent McDuffie - Late 1st Round Pick

Isiah Pacheco - 7th round pick

Leo Chenal - 3rd round pick

Rashee Rice - 2nd round pick

Xavier Worthy - Late 1st round pick

It's such a pathetic excuse.

Nico Collins and Terry McClauren were both 3rd round picks.  Maybe if we drafted more WRs we would of hit

Every fan is frustrated and should be. We didn’t get to the Super Bowl.

But the hot takes of saying Beane doesn’t know what he’s doing and can’t draft are stupid. And you would think people would know his last name is spelled B-E-A-N-E. The guy isn’t a freakin Lima bean.

apparently, you love underperforming and excusing bad draft picks.

With all those terrible draft picks, how on earth did we manage to get to the AFCCG? If we draft so terribly, it sounds like we are over performing.

We seem to have a logic issue.
