He used age as an excuse for Edmunds for about 5 years too. He should be gone.

I don’t think Beane has learned any lessons. He isn’t improving at his job. Way too many of these high picks are borderline busts. For that alone, he should be gone.

Save it, Ryan. So do the other ***** 31 teams. Chiefs "elite" players drafted outside of Mahomes are Kelce (2013) and Jones (2016) - Veach wasn't even the ***** GM for those drafts.

Adjustments need to be made, and have been made in each subsequent season since McDermott and Beane have been here. I'm sorry they happen to exist during what is going to be the greatest dynasty in NFL history.

McBeane are really ***** good, and KC is All-Time great. In the history of the league, really ***** good gets it done in every other era.

1.  Lose the attitude with "save it."

2.  Your wrong about KC.  OC Tre Smith, Pro Bowler, taken in the 5th round in 2021.  C Creed Humphrey, Pro-Bowler also in 2021.  (KC needed to fix its OL, they did.  We needed to fix our DL, and our GM reached for picks in the 1st and 2nd, KC took BPA and solved their issues).  Oh, KC also selected their D captain Nick Bolton in 2021.   Should I continue, okay:  Trent McDuffie in 2022; WR Rasheed Rice, 2nd round.  Also worth noting that after KC traded who was perhaps the top WR in the NFL (Tyreek Hill), rather than make excuses, they went out and won the SB.  Fans like you would apparently are happy just to make the playoffs after losing a top talent.

3.  This KC is All-Time great is another BS excuse.  You know why they are so freaking great, they run into us in the playoffs, who are outcoached and somewhat outmanned due to McD/Bean.

Good is the enemy of great.  You're happy with "good."

How many big time free agents have the chiefs brought in?  Maybe 2?  Thuney and Taylor?

when you draft as well as they have, you don't need to.

Beane praising Dawson Knox for all he does after making 10 million dollars and having 311 yards in an entire season, just shows that he does not know what he is doing.

Being upset is fine. I know I am. But (imo) it comes off better if you do it like an adult as opposed to a spoiled child having a fit.

Right - I also absolutely hate all the hindsight takes.

Well the chiefs took humphrey!! Where was Center on the bills priority list that year?  Does he start over morse?  does he sit for a year?

We should have traded up for McDuffie and Thomas!! With who? What would you have offered to do so?

Why didn't we sit pat for laporta instead of kincaid?! Because of draft grades and projections.

I'm not saying he needs to tell us what our needs are. Just complaining about the constant "we're not spending money in FA so we can extend guys"

extending JAGs is getting old.  Save that money and get Tee Higgins or Godwin.  Trade top 2 picks for Crosby (Bean stinks in Rd. 1-2 anyway).  Draft 1T in later rounds for once to free up Oliver.

Ya know he does block occasionally for the least sacked QB in like the history of the league and a top 10 rushing attack.

Beane straight up says he was disappointed with Keon. Oof.

He has shown no ability to seperate, and he has trouble catching the ball in contested situations.

Really bad combo.

I was running the numbers for our receivers and I saw the same trend I saw with Gabe Davis. Allen was at his WORST when he targeted Gabe, and he is at his worst when he targets Coleman.

Allen was only 50% completion percentage when throwing to Coleman this year.

He was 76% throwing to Shakir, 67% throwing to Knox, 72% throwing to Ty, 67% to Samuel, 84% to Cook, etc.

50% to Coleman is insanely low.

Well, since sports fandom is 100% voluntary, why do you chose to follow such an obviously incompetent franchise of mediocrities?

It takes about 100 keystrokes to buy a Mahomes jersey and make an account on ChiefsPlanet.

You can leave all us rubes and suckers behind and spend your days worshiping at the altar of Ring Culture.

Humphry was the consensus #1 center along with Landon Dickerson (also a pro bowler).  Basham was looked at as a huge project.  Reaching for position over BPA is always a terrible idea.  We also needed LB help that year.  JOK was available but passed on.   What do you suggest, not grading GMs on draft picks?  It's all luck (then KC and Philly are REALLY lucky).

This is the exact mentality that destroys any fun people have watching sports and taking in sports commentary.

Or maybe you're right. Unless one of them wins the Superbowl, there's no difference between Joe Burrow and Nate Peterman.

Doom! Angst! Instant Gratification!

I'm referring to the front office here.

Obviously the comparison between those two QB's is ridiculous.

I enjoy Bills football. I will continue to watch. However, I would like a championship someday.

If the Bills didn't have Josh Allen, I would be ecstatic at what the Bills have accomplished under McBeane every season.  But if there was ever a player in the history of the NFL that deserved a SB ring it's him.  He came to Buffalo, embraced and embodied the city, became a generational talent, single handedly got the Bills a new stadium deal and elevated everyone in the franchise around him.   At this point I want a Lombardi more for Josh than I do for the Bills.   NFL careers are fleeting and he carried this team on his back for 6+ years but those around him need to stop letting him down.

Let’s just settle down. Plenty of other bills players deserve rings. Allen came to us a super raw rookie who wasn’t even a star in the MWC. We gave him the Same OC for 4 years which never happens; traded for Diggs, drafted a bunch of offensive talent; and pay him a ton of money. He knows how much the Bills have done for him as well.

Allen is better than my wildest dreams could have imagined and we will always have a chance to win the SB. But man, for some, it seems like it’s the Buffalo Josh Allen’s instead of the Bills, which I bet you Allen doesn’t like. Why does Allen deserve a ring more than Dawkins, Milano, or Cook? It’s the ultimate team sport and has a great life playing for the Bills.

If the conclusion one is to draw from that press conference is that we won't go outside the organization much because we need to extend a bunch of guys who don't show up when it matters and hit on draft picks that he hasn't been hitting on.. Color me disillusioned that we'll ever get there.

Thing is, Beane also says stuff.  He's honest, to a point, but is also someone that can surprise us.

We can't make players become available, but if someone is, where it makes sense, I'll gladly trade a couple high picks and let a Benford/Bernard walk in order to finally give Josh a running mate like Mahomes has had x2 or x3 his entire career.

the fact Bean is surprised by this is shocking.  Well known that Coleman had an inability to separate in college, what did he think would happen in the NFL?

This is the key argument.

Us as fans can go back and forth. And we can all agree to disagree.

I want a championship and I don't see that coming.

This regime has proven that they don't have what it takes to get there. Yes being good is way better than 17 years of garbage. But enough is enough and it's time for a change.
