The TRUTH is that it is widely accepted around the entire NFL world that the Buffalo Bills organization and its culture is one of the best ones in the NFL, if not in ALL of pro sports in the US. Does that necessariliy translate to winning a championship? No. But the org is not some shoddy fly by night deal like you imply above. What McD and Beane have built is consdiered top tier around the league. And the idea that the Pegulas are "not in it for winning" doesnt wash, either. They invested a ton of money building what is consdered one of the best fitness centers in the NFL (https://www.buffalobills.com/news/bills-expect-world-class-sports-performance-center-to-enhance-their-game). They have laid out BIG contracts to free agents and to retain their own talent. Again...does that translate into winning? No. The Von contract is bad right now due ot his injuries. But its sure damn NOT for lack of trying. The effort to win is there. The MONEY is there. Ok, good for you. The point remains — Brandon Beane isn’t telling you all during his end of season PC what he plans to do, and getting upset or frustrated about it is ridiculous. 3 Quote
The Firebaugh Kid Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago Beane and McD discussed Kincaids "strength" needing improvement. Hit the weight room son. Also both echoed Keon was better before the injury. 2 Quote

It's not like a majority of fans saw Keon for what he is, a very slow, tall WR who might make a few catches for you but will blanketed 99% of time. How about all the other high round disasters? He has really not hit good on anything but Allen and a few late round picks, maybe Cook was worth the pick otherwise he has been garbage and is exactly the reason we are where we are with talent. And maxed the cap out for all these garbage players too? You can say the same about the FA signings too Same, the drought argument is null and void due to Josh Allen. Maybe cook? Wtf lol 2 Quote

So, literally the same exact excuse he used last year. Unreal. 1 Quote

Also, there are elite players there, just ask any team with an elite QB. KC drafted Humphries (likely HOF player) in the 2nd. Bean took Basham. TJ Watt, late first round pick. Gee, oh, Lamar Jackson, late first round pick. In 2022 after we took Elam, the next three picks were pro bowl players: OT Tyler Smith, C Tyler Lindenbaum, and DE Jermaine Johnson II. It's called, picking for need. That's how Beane uses our premium picks. And it's why he is better on day 3 when he doesn't. That's why he trades up for Cody Ford when Metcalf would come to him. Quote

I'm thankful that McD doesn't agree with you. It makes me proud of him. The only goal is a Super Bowl. That's it. The freinds we made along the way doesnt matter. Anything but a Super Bowl and the season is a failure. 1 Quote

Good news is there are zero excuses next year. A lot of bad cap space is coming off the books, Allen will likely be extended to lower his cap hit, all the coaches are back, the core of the roster will all be back, and we have a lot of draft picks. This was a rebuild/reload year. Okay, fine. Next year has to be the one then. 1 Quote

Which posters are claiming this year was an absolute success? Every one of those posters I’m sure would say the SB is their goal. There can be nuance in the idea of success. sean has always preached a growth mindset. His goal is the SB, but he doesn’t shy away from growth where the result may not have been the SB. i think your points over the last week have been very shortsighted and lack the depth you usually post with Quote

This years low light real contains the NFL's first kickoff return for a TD under the new rules and TWO converted fake punts against us in addition to another smattering of big plays allowed. Maybe, IDK...get someone that's already learned those lessons and knows what they are doing. 1 Quote
Kelly to Allen Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago (edited) Well I'm done ranting and being negative. Time to regroup. McDermott isn't going anywhere and it is what it is. Going to choose to be hopeful. I remember saying to my father before the season started that this team and it's youth reminded me a bit of the 1988 team. This offense is ahead of schedule but is still missing a lofton similar to that team. I do think that the 88 team had a better defense. So we need 2-3 major pieces there. I really like the youth and talents of Rousseau, Oliver, Solomon, Bernard, Williams, Andressen , Ulofoshio, Benford, Bishop, Rapp, Johnson, Hardy and Ingram. I'm hoping Elam can turn the corner, still a very young player. The team chemistry is better than the bickering bills. We had a very tough division win similar to beating the oilers in 88 and then lost the AFC championship on the road and still didn't look quite ready for the moment. Somewhat similar to the 88 AFC championship on the road vs Cincinnati Hopefully we can get to multiple super bowls in the coming years like that team. In that era Denver with Elway and Marino were going before we went. So lots of similarities and Allen is the same age as Kelly at that time. Two young dynamic rbs , young Shakir like Reed, Coleman like Beebe etc. We need a Kirby Jackson and we need a great young pass rusher Then we need a lofton Edited 21 hours ago by Kelly to Allen 2 Quote
