Anybody else evesdropping on these media members waiting for Sean?

One of them just said he talked to Josh after and he said Dalton should've/could've caught the ball!

They're saying Josh sucks at the RPO and that Reid/KC is a way better playcaller than Brady because he switches things up.

Wow guys, hot mic. Hilarious really.

I'm on a desktop computer at work with headphones on, crazy.

I'm guessing nobody else heard this? There were 137 people watching on youtube that heard all kinds of stuff just now, really unprofessional stuff.

They must love Keon

You don't call out a rookie like that at the end of season presser unless you think highly of him and know he will respond

I do like that they called him and Kincaid out. It's not usually their way, but we need more from those guys.

I don't believe in a million years that Allen would ever say that to a reporter.

That guy is lying through his teeth.

McDermott:

"Nobody in this building is content with where we are at"

"I dont think there is any consolation in that [being down 3 with 3 minutes to go]."

"Our goal is to win a world championship and we will pursue that goal relentlessly."

"I dont deal well with sitting on the edge and saying 'We will get them next year'."

SEE??? WAS THAT SO HARD????????  Contrast these statements to what Beane said this AM. Night and day, IMHO.

Hot mics are certainly for more interesting than anything said on the record.

I could see Josh saying “yeah, Dalton could’ve caught it!” but not in a condemning tone, more of a “it could’ve been a great play” tone.

I've never seen Josh throw anyone under the bus except for himself.

Josh said Josh needs to be better for his guys.

I haven't had the time to listen to the presser yet, but for those that did, did anyone ask him specifically about the lack of speed and explosion at the WR position?  By the time the season ended, teams were just sitting 15 yards of the LOS because they didn't respect any WR we had deep down the field.  It's one of the biggest reasons our offense struggled in the playoffs.  When teams realize nobody is even going to try and get behind them, you are so much easier to defend.  But when you have a couple threats on the outside that can completely change a game in an instant with their speed, it completely opens up the middle of the field where Allen loves to live.  By the end of the Playoffs, it seemed like 50% of throws were either at or behind the LOS on screens and the other half were 10 yard drag routes hoping someone would get lost in the shuffle.  Josh Allen is your freaking QB and you are basically neutering him with the players and lack of speed we have at the WR position.

It seems like the topic of Coleman was brought up and how he is pretty much exactly the player he was in college that wasn't worth anywhere near a 2nd round pick, but he's not the only player on this team that struggles separating and lacks the top end speed necessary to open up this offense.  I said immediately after the draft last year that we would be coming into this year with the same exact needs......  a true WR1 with speed and explosion and an elite pass rusher.  And.....whelp....here we are.

90% of the replies in this thread are precisely as awful as I thought they'd be.

There are, to quote a popular TV show, quite a lot of "fetid moppets" on this forum.

I'm going back into hibernation. See you all in the lead-up to free agency.

Beane straight up says he was disappointed with Keon. Oof. Doesn't sound like they're happy with how he handled the injury.

And who is responsible for that?  It's not like a majority of fans saw Keon for what he is, a very slow, tall WR who might make a few catches for you but will blanketed 99% of time.  How about all the other high round disasters?  He has really not hit good on anything but Allen and a few late round picks, maybe Cook was worth the pick otherwise he has been garbage and is exactly the reason we are where we are with talent.  And maxed the cap out for all these garbage players too? You can say the same about the FA signings too

Same, the drought argument is null and void due to Josh Allen.  And like others have said without Josh Allen we are a 5-6 win team, just like the drought years

McD just endorsed Smiley, sounds like he’ll be back. McD said it was a learning process and he’ll take that experience moving forward. In the past when asked about a specific coach who was on the outs, he’d say “I’m not gonna get into who’s gonna be here at this time. I respect that you’re asking, but I’m not going there.”

Defended him.

“Knows he had plays he wanted back, as do I”

Talked about how injuries robs special teams of players who end up having to start on defense.

I disagree.  I can understand the situation when KC is that well run.  I can’t understand some of the negativity and the reason for negativity that people spew on here
