RkFast Posted Thursday at 04:12 PM Posted Thursday at 04:12 PM (edited) Beane (paraphrashing): "Id sign up to be in the same postion, down 3 with 3 mins to go next year." THAT DIDNT WORK THREE TIMES. How about being UP TEN with three minutes to go? Christ. [/rant] Seriously though...I get the sentiment but thats such a passive, defensive postion. Work to NOT be "down 3 with 3 to go" on the road in the loudest stadium in the NFL, facing a "GOAT" candidate with the best coaching staff in the NFL with one of the best HCs EVER. Even he couldn’t screw that up. 😂 1 1 1 2 11 1 Quote

Again, I get the sentiment but I DO think sometimes the "aw shucks, we will get them next time, we love each other" mentality of this team, while often endearing, is sometimes a detriment. RkFast Posted Thursday at 04:19 PM Posted Thursday at 04:19 PM "I dont see the need to tear it down" - Beane. Sure, Brandon...the Big Nickel "BBDB" defense that failed five times in the playoffs? Roll it out as-is again. This presser is starting to get me angry...... 5 3 1 Quote

MWK Posted Thursday at 04:21 PM Posted Thursday at 04:21 PM Beane making excuses like always. Talking about extending players and getting nobody new. Why won't anyone ask him about his poor drafting? 1 1 Quote

The positive vibes and benefit-of-the-doubt stuff is done for me. Fans like me turning means absolutely nothing. When do the players turn? That is the key. Process Posted Thursday at 04:24 PM Author Posted Thursday at 04:24 PM Beane straight up says he was disappointed with Keon. Oof. Doesn't sound like they're happy with how he handled the injury. 1 1 Quote
RkFast Posted Thursday at 04:24 PM Posted Thursday at 04:24 PM We are talking about refs and officiating. Are ANY of these sycophants in the room going to press Beane or are they afraid they wont be invited to the next "party?" The hell is going on here? 2 1 1 Quote
ControllerOfPlanetX Posted Thursday at 04:25 PM Posted Thursday at 04:25 PM Beane will tell us we can’t attract free agents because we don’t have any palm trees. 4 1 Quote

If Beane didnt like what he seen at the end of the season, thats on him for drafting him. 5 15 Quote

Why won't anyone ask him about his poor drafting? Why show your hand, talk about what you need and drive up prices or competition for players. Not excuses, it's smart. But I agree about the drafting. He has to hit on 1st and 2nd rounders more often than he does. 1 Quote
