Trump_is_Mentally_fit Posted February 15 Posted February 15 Oh boy, now nukes might go missing. Trump=Miserable failure https://www.mediaite.com/trump/trump-administration-mistakenly-fired-staff-overseeing-nations-nuclear-weapons-report/ Quote Officials in the Trump administration fired more than 300 employees of the National Nuclear Security Administration on Thursday night, only to reverse course upon learning the workers’ responsibilities, CNN reported Friday night. The NNSA is housed under the Department of Energy, which is tasked with researching and oversight of nuclear power and nuclear weapons, as well as energy production in general.

Homelander Posted Tuesday at 03:05 AM Author Posted Tuesday at 03:05 AM During his first four-year term, Trump failed to implement these updates. The consequences of his deregulation campaign became evident in the Boeing 737 Max safety crisis, which highlighted the dangers of reduced oversight. His persistent calls to cut FAA budgets and staff are now materializing into harmful policy changes. Regulations save lives.

That system was in development well before Trump. The entire 737 issue goes deeper than any single administration and is completely based on money. Absolutely not Trump related. Want a clue? Here's one.........Southwest. 1

The FAA abdicated its responsibility by accepting Boeing's own verification of the MCAS system's safety The FAA has been mandated to transfer more control to aviation organizations, including manufacturers. Two Executive Orders signed by Trump requiring further FAA regulation cuts weakened FAA authority and pushed the agency away from its core mission.

Further, I doubt you have any idea how certification is done, how competent Boeing or other aircraft manufacturers are, or their capabilities, or the test process prior to certification. How many US 737's have succumbed to MCAS? None. Know why? This crazy vector on this forum of assigning any degree of blame for this recent spate of incidents is bizarre and unjustified. The antiquated FAA air traffic control system should have been addressed years ago, and certainly under the four years of Buttigieg. No. He was too busy forcing adult professionals to attend pronoun training and changing the decades old lexicon to get the phrase man out of everything. Total waste, and despised by all with a stake. Just horrible.

sherpa Posted Tuesday at 06:44 PM Posted Tuesday at 06:44 PM Pointless to expect any rational exchange. Trump did it as a real estate mogul in NY. 1
