Do Bills players think they can beat the Chiefs?

The defense is constantly out of position to defend against the pass. Ultimately the inability to adjust to that falls on the coaches.

 

As an aside, I wish on offense, we ran high percentage plays like that.

There’s definitely some coaching issues and I’m not advocating a defense for McD by any means. I was a huge defender of his but this coming season if he returns is the last if it’s not a super bow appearance. 
 

The players on the field make too many errors or are not up to par to execute well even basic fundamentals sometimes. Whilst that isn’t indicative of his coaching through and through, it is indicative that there’s a problem with the players on the field. They’re they because of the coach. 
 

Whilst running plays like that on offense would be great, would we even get the same looks of the units were flipped? Sadly, probably not lol

out of either 5 or 6 KC players, they’re not all being erased by essentially 2 blockers to get Cook/Johnson/Davis that catch. 

Again, coaching is an issue but the players out there have to be held just as accountable. Seems more often than not people give them a pass to lump it on Sean & Co.

Getting to the AFC Championship and losing by 3 on the road to a historical good team with a little help from their friends is infinitely better than being out of it by Thanksgiving and rooting for random teams on the playoffs.  

 

Stop and smell the wins.

 

If I was a player I'd have hope for x,000,000 reasons.

I have been virtually begging Brady to run this play. It’s very hard to defend.

Groot and Torrence played poorly on this game (Torrence was straight cheeks) but they both had comments about KC just dialed up the right blitz/changed where pressure was coming from or that KC ran plays they never saw.

 

That tells me they think their coaches don't know what they are doing.

 

Given how utter trash our d has been every playoff exit, and that our HC is a d minded coach, and that our OC has no success of any kind before Allen had the fewest toxic plays per snap of any QB ever, I can't blame them

They’ve seen Mahomes and KC’s offense operate too many times to fathom any comeback at that point. As soon as Kincaid dropped that pass the air was gone out of the Bills.

I played against LSU, Ole Miss and Mississippi State in 3 straight weekends….LSU was #1.
 

I came into every game that were going to shock college baseball and couldn’t wait to step on the field….we went 0-9 in all 3 game series 😂

 

But we remained confident and beat Alabama twice later in the season.

To be fair, Dion was just kind of listening to Chris Jones talk at him in that moment.  For all we know, he might have been thinking  "what are you talking about bro?  We still have 3 time outs".    But I don't know.  I personally thought it was over when Kincaid dropped that pass too.  It's the only thing I still think about this game.  Once in a while the horrible call on 4th and 1 as well, but mostly the Kincaid drop.  I think about that drop, and what might have been for us all right now if he caught it.  And it's tough.  Because every time we play the chiefs it seems like we have 1 moment at the end of the game just like this.  Something that could have so easily gone our way instead.

So why was Dawkins (who I think is excellent) hugging Chris Jones like the clock struck zero?  The game was still live. Maybe we get the ball back with a minute 30 if they hold them to a three and out on runs?  A tipped pass and maybe we save a TO?

 

This leads me to a larger point. 3 point game, 2 minutes left, 3 TO's and one of our best players is ready to start the offseason.  He didn't think we had a chance (he was right but that's besides the point.)

 

Do these guys think they can win when they step on the field?

That was pretty bizarre.

 

Between that and the Josh Allen & Mahomes golf tourneys…..  me has the feeling the fans hate the Chiefs a lot more than the players.

I think he was saying something to Dawkins and I was wondering if it was about trash talking as someone said Dawkins was bad mouthing the Chiefs the week before the game? I didn't see that though

Why would they? They've proven 4 times in a row that they can't. It's one thing to hope, but actually believing at this point despite the mountain of evidence is just delusion.
