I'm going to vomit Josh isn't going anywhere

The City of Buffalo embraced Josh Allen and his family

He's literally became a Buffalonian, he deserves all the love the region gives him

He'll never be the king of San Francisco or Los Angeles... But he's the role model to hundreds of thousands of kids across Western New York

Not to mention the bills did help develop Josh Allen

We deserve Josh and he deserves all the love the city gives him

Players only love you when their playing…,

Josh isn’t a fool, he knows full well what the issues are with the overall scheme Sean has been using.

IMO, I think Josh needs to have a long and hard conversation with Sean, Beane, and Pegula. If things don't change with Sean, he deserves an out.  I don't want him ever to leave, but he deserves better.  I would prefer an offensive coach.  Again, just stating my opinion.

Well it's pretty apparent that you didn't listen to Josh in his last interview he said he has all the faith in his Coach unlike many of the ungrateful here do, and in Beanes interview he said every body is giving him grief and Beane said give him some of the grief he could have done better in getting him players .

The thing is all of ya'll think that because of 1 change at HC that it's going to make this miraculous freakin change and all of the sudden the Bills will be in the super bowl well i hate to tell ya'll but that;s a bunch of BS !

Looks at all the teams in the past say 2 years that have had a HC ing change the Giants, Saints, Carolina, Bears, Seattle, Dallas, Jags, Colts, and so on, the only teams that have done good is Washington, Vikings, & the Broncos and what teams went further in the play offs than them ???

Have you ever noticed almost all of the teams that have had their coaches for over 5 years except the few i mentioned were the teams that went the deepest in in the play offs . So yah lets blow it all up so McD can take his expertise else where makes a ton of sense !! They were 3 freakin points away from the SB & given the bad calls by the refs they would have been in it but its ALL MCD .. Yep !!

Josh will get his new contract and McD will still be here for ya'll to B**ch about for years to come !!

Edit; Beane also said that if they would have won no one would have been saying a word and he referenced T Bass - last year every body was on him because he missed some kicks this year he did a lot better and no one is calling for his head .

That's the way it works if you lose your a Ass if you win every body praises you ...

It would make sense if we have a monster contract to sign for a new talent, say Higgins or Metcalf (I think DK would be much cheaper and cost a pick) or Crosby or Hendricks (dude from Cincy who was in NO before) or whoever.  I'd bet his agent would want him to not extend now tho, maybe just restructure for cap games.

Nah. Metcalf is too ‘big’. No swivel. PASS

I would expect 62M per year

Jerry Jones, you screwed us all!

There is a special room in Hell for owners who pay big bucks to mediocrity. They screw the entire system up.

I have no idea if there is a limit on the length of the contract but if I am Bills I offer him 20 years 1 billion total, and I am not kidding. He is easily worth $50 million a year to us. We can simply have the rolling bonus structure that lets us push off the salary cap for years and we as Bills fans will pay the price the year he leaves, which hopefully is around 20 years from now. We basically can lock him up forever and for a reasonable price. Obviously the major concern is an injury, but I still do it.

20 years from now? As in, Josh playing until he's 48?

Josh has 4 seasons  left on his current (now team friendly) deal. Im not sure what the rush to extend him is as we have him under contract for the 25, 26, 27 and 28 season and he becomes an UFA in 2029. He will be 33 years old at the end of his current deal. I’m not sure his playing style warrants extending him until he is 40 years old. Allen is great but he needs help in order to win a championship. 4 years is a long time in the NFL as you never know with injuries and sudden physical decline (everyone is different and Brady is an outlier). Due to his playing style, Allen is more likely to finish his career like Kelly or Big Ben rather than a Brady or Brees.

I know he is the franchise but it reeks of desperation trying to extend a contract that he has 4 years left on. Maybe add just 2-3 years if it is an issue but I would not want to extend him beyond 35 years old at this point and time.

I’m not going to try to read Josh’s mind, but a few more disappointing playoff exits due to coaching blunders and personnel mismanagement, combined with a Hollywood wifey, an interested west coast team with oodles  of cap space, and his formative years spent in Cali?  Those are strong motivators to make a change, especially if Josh’s shoulders get weary carrying the hopes and dreams of an entire region.

Maybe so, but your first mistake would be taking everything that anyone says in a presser as gospel…attitudes and situations change in the face of results

This was a question after the loss to KC put directly to Josh him self on locker clean out day, so i believe that our QB is a person that doesn't lie or blow smoke from anything i have seen from him since he's been on the team, unless you personally have proof of him to not tell what he feels to be his truth ??

And he is with McD nearly every day and coach helps them to build what they have and he personally see's how long and hard the man works to make them better which "Fans" have no clue, they only cheer or B**CH to the out come of a game or season . And have become spoiled because of the Bills success !

I listened to Josh, McD & Beanes interviews and all of them seem to be on the same page which is in some respects a huge part of the reason why the Bills are & have been so successful . All of or most of the people that follow the NFL say that McD & Beane are 2 of the best in the business and wonder why they can't get over on the Chiefs .

When your playing against a the best coaching duo & QB of a generation (and the refs) it is very hard to beat that combo, i have just pointed out how people here are ungrateful ! In 7 years the ONLY 2 teams that have made the play offs EVERY YEAR SINCE are the Chiefs and the Bills, so take away McD or Beane and where does that leave the Bills ?

Out of the play offs, no chance at the SB, No AFC east Championship, No chance at the AFC Championship game ! I heard a guy yesterday say hire Kliff Kingsberry Yah he did great in Arizona & Dorcey had his same throw it down the field type scheme and how'd that work out ?? If there was 1 coach that could come in and immediately make the difference i'd like to know who that would be .

There are 2 old sayings that apply to this situation - you don't know what you have until it's gone  - so be careful what you wish for !!

It is with the expectation that he does not actually finish the contract but it allows maximum flexibility until he retires. I want to lock him up for as long as possible and the Billion number looks good when trying to get other players.

There’s no way in the world any singular athlete is signing for a billion dollars. Think about the inequity alone. Cmon.

Not sure what you mean by that, Messi makes more than his entire league and Jordan used to make more than the rest of his team combined.

I think yes he gets a new contract... I also think yes... he is one of those Kelly types... he seems to be loyal and loves the people and the team... but I do think that if we screw him around on the contract then its not going to be kumbaya with him... no one wants to feel like they are being taken advantage of... If he is in the top 4 QBs in the league and getting paid like a mid tier he is probably gonna have an issue... but in the end... Beane, McD and even Pegula know where thier  bread is buttered... and Allen is holding the butter knife...
