I've played around with about 5 of these simulators and can't seem to find one whose rankings are great.  Anyone have a suggestion which site has the best rankings?

This is how fans who are casual draft people end up getting mad when they watch the draft and see a guy drop two rounds and cry on here. Most websites and simulators are way out of date when it comes to player rankings especially once you get out of the first rounders

I only want a DT early only if he can get to the QB and create havoc in the backfield. I'm certainly not wasting an early round pick on a purely space eating fat guy. You can probably get one of those in FA.

My focus would on guys who get to the QB, WR and CB.

putting the PFF simulator to its highest "random" setting makes for fun drafting.

Certainly hard to argue that wouldn’t be a great draft.  I don’t think Harmon or Paul will make it out of round 2, definitely not past day 2.  Your first 3 picks are plausible and great value.

Definitely addresses some key needs.  I suspect that CB has to be addressed earlier than pick 171, but you have some promising players in the early rounds.

I'm figuring Cb and Dt will be addressed in free agency.

Not the result of in-depth pre-draft analysis, yet. Probably too many picks tbh. 10 draftees usually won't all make the team. The first 4 selections should be roster locks, with another couple/few sneaky talents rising out of the back half of the draft. Consider 1 or 2 to the PS, another 1 or 2 to the IR, and still another 1 or 2 to a rival's 53.

**oh, and I traded with KC, turns out. They drafted this guy at 30:

Did I hand them yet another 1st round gem?

I think Shemar Stewart is going to be very good.  He has a lot of power, yet still has notable speed and agility.  He might not be a high sack number guy, but he will de disruptive to offenses on passing downs and a killer in run D.

If he puts it altogether he is an ELITE edge player who will get plenty of sacks. The problem with him is his lack of production is because he is unrefined technically. He is a major leaner and when you lean against NFL calibre tackles who have a solid anchor they are just going to overwhelm you. Add to that is hand usage is terrible. It's like he woke up one morning and found two new appendages had been stitched onto the ends of his arms and hasn't yet worked out why.

We’re drafting Chris Paul and ‘Kobe’ Bryant? Sweet! All we need now is a shooting Forward and a rim enforcer at Center. 😁

BUF (Run of ProFootballnetwork.com)

30.  Shemar Stewart EDGE Texas A&M

56.  Maxwell Hairston CB Kentucky

62.  Isaiah Bond WR Texas

108. Sebastian Castro S Iowa

131. Quincy Riley CB Louisville

171. J.J. Pegues DT Ole Miss

175. Smael Mondon Jr. LB Georgia

179. Trevor Etienne RB Georgia

181. Xavier Truss OG Georgia

208. Brady Cook QB Missouri

If this is how the draft worked out I'd be thrilled.  I'm a little biased toward the SEC because that is who I've seen play the most.  That said, the first 3 picks are all potential starters.  Castro gives depth at S.  Pegues is a huge run stopping DT who can still get to the QB - Jones' eventual replacement.  Riley might end up being better than Hairston and is a ball hawk.  Mondon is a very good overall linebacker and could develop into Milano's replacement.  Etienne would be the perfect 3rd down back if Johnson leaves.  He has speed and good hands.  Truss fills a need as OG depth and was a multi year starter at UGA.  Cook is an athletic big QB.  Sound familiar?

Assuming we can’t make an impactful trade on the DL, how would you feel if these were our first three draft picks:

1st round: Kenneth Grant, DT, Michigan

2nd round: Jack Sawyer, DE, Ohio State

2nd round: Nick Emmanwori, S, South Carolina.

Go get a WR and CB in FA.

I'd love that draft!  Many mocks have Emmanwori going in the 1st.

Jay Higgins seems like steal in the 6th round. Is that his projection. Guy has been a warrior at LB for Iowa.

Word. A DT at 30 would have to offer high upside pass rush ability on top of having run stuffing skills.
