Can one of you clever techy people twll me how to embed an image? Whenever I try it just gives a link to whichever upload site I used.

British links sometimes won’t embed because of stupid spelling in the url’s.  Try removing unnecessary u’s and linking again.

I just use Paint. Screen capture (Alt-PrintScreen), paste in paint (ctrl-v), select your box & ctrl-c to copy, paste it (ctrl-v) & crop, then if necessary resize till the select-all is < 200kb when you copy the image and paste to TSW with ctrl-v.

Thanks @Ralonzo - it worked! This was my draft this morning. I think it is the best one I've done this spring. Another reason I liked it is because the first round was fairly realistic in terms of the ranges the guys there went in which always helps you follow the rest through in a somewhat sensible manner. Explanation of my process below:

 

Round 1

I was left in a spot where my choice at #30 was essentially Scourton or Grant. I have Scourton slightly higher on my board (it's very close, but a point in his favour) and he plays a premium position. So I stayed true to my BPA at a premium spot ethos and took Scourton. 

 

Round 2

Not going corner in the first round meant there was some urgency there for me in round two. Luckily there were still some options on the board. Hariston, Amos, Morrison and Porter were all still there. My plan was to try and use one of my 4th round picks to get up for a corner if either - three of the four were gone OR Hariston or Amos were still there after pick 45. Hariston went at 45. So I then started offering teams one of my 4ths to come up. The first one that bit was Seattle at #50 so I sent them my later 4th (#139) to come up from #56 and snag Trey Amos who, as I explained in the TSW mock I'd be willing to take at #30 - he has the same grade as Grant actually by my board - because he is a literal perfect scheme fit for Buffalo's defense. Simpler at #62, Isaiah Bond was there, was BPA and if the off field stuff checks out would be a really good pick for the Bills. 

 

Round 3 

Not having a 3rd rounder and not having addressed the need at DT I was determined to be aggressive once we got into the latter end of the round. Eventually I was able to swing a trade with our old buddies at the Giants by flipping them our first 5th rounder - #169 - to move up ten spots from #109 in round 4 to #99 in round 3 and get CJ West who I love as a player and think is a better fit for this team than some of the guys like Farmer and Norman-Lott who are being talked about in the late 2nd range. West would be the starting 1T by the end of his rookie year IMO.

 

Round 4

Given my two trade ups in rounds 2 and 3 I had no pick. 

 

Round 5

This IS a good running back class. I think its strength is more rounds 3 through 5 than rounds 1 and 2 but even after the bigger names there are guys who can play. I've expressed the concern on these boards however, that drafting one this year is a problem if Cook remains because it is unlikely the Bills keep 4 running backs and Gilliam on the roster. Well here is a way around it.... draft Brashard Smith and he has a chance to stick in year 1 as your returner, something he did very effectively at SMU. So he doesn't take a running back spot on your roster he takes Codrington's role and then if you lose Cook after 2025 in he steps as your speedy home run hitter. He has some James Cook to his game. He is slightly smaller, so he is probably legitimately more a guy you use in a time share with say Ray Davis but he gives you that big play threat. Then with my second 5th rounder I took Kitan Crawford, an athletic safety, an older prospect, but versatile enough to play in the slot, the dime or either safety spot. He'd have a chance to win a job in a weak room. I actually have a late 4th on him.

 

Round 6

The Bills are going to take a linebacker somewhere in this class and Duman-Johnson is their type. A bit undersized, but can cover and hits well for a smaller guy, will be a backup WILL and play some special teams. I also think they will take a tight end somewhere, but I expect that to be more of an in-line blocker who can do some short area security blanket stuff as a receiver, rather than an athletic seam threatener. Yurosek fits that description and I imagine the third tight end spot comes down to him of Davidson's more athletic pass catching skills with the loser of that battle spending the year on the PS and elevated if required. 

 

 

Definitely my favourite one of this spring. If this played out in 3 weeks time I'd be a happy guy.

What do you think about Jalen Royals if he fell to the Bills in the 2nd round?

 

He comes from a small school, but it seems he would be a good fit for what the Bills need at WR.

My guy for that is Jackson Hawes. He may not quite be Lee Smith but he does a fair impersonation.

I like Royals. I have a 3rd on him grade wise but I wouldn't hate them taking a shot at the end of the 2nd.

I considered him as well but he offers you zilch as a receiver. He is the best blocking tight end in the draft.

you're right. It's just the 1st 4 rounds but still... we'd need to grab Asante or someone like that.
