LEBills Posted March 20 Posted March 20 https://www.nfl.com/news/2025-nfl-mock-draft-daniel-jeremiah-3-0 Daniel Jeremiah’s recent mock: 30. Kenneth Grant Quote Grant fills a need for the Bills. They recently signed DT Larry Ogunjobi, but he’s facing a six-game suspension. Grant’s raw upside and athleticism are tough to pass up. 2 1 Quote

Richard Noggin Posted Friday at 02:53 AM Posted Friday at 02:53 AM (edited) Started this draft just now, and like always I "try" to pause it around picks 7-10 just to peek (I set it to "Fast" speed which can really zoom). Carter AND Hunter available at 8?! McCord went #3?! (Almost makes sense as a last-ditch effort to salvage their jobs in NYG, being a higher floor, lower ceiling QB prospect.)) Does one attempt to trade up for Hunter, because he's potentially transcendent as a high-end CB AND WR prospect? (Of course one trades up for Hunter, especially when it only costs #62 this year and 1st rounder next year?! That's bonkers.) Don't LOVE Nolan as only DT drafted, but hey... Packaging their first 3 picks gets you to #12 by the traditional Jimmy Johnson chart and to #10 by the revised Rich Hill chart. Weaker draft so might take slightly less.... they could possibly get just inside that top 10.... 8 or 9 maybe. I don't think they have a chance to get higher than that for two reasons: 1. value and 2. the number of blue chip prospects in this draft is max 4 or 5. When you factor two teams taking QBs (who are not among them) that means #6 or #7 you might get a blue chipper. I just think teams will be reluctant to move down much further than that because they are then dropping a tier in terms of prospects. Quote

I’ve been using this site for mock drafts and I think there is something wrong with the algorithm for the giants pick at 3. About half the drafts they are picking some QB out of left field. Quote
MikePJ76 Posted Friday at 12:55 PM Posted Friday at 12:55 PM Joe Buscaglia has a new mock. I have to say I do not like this one at all. Bills 2025 mock draft class (3/21) The pick at No. 26: Donovan Ezeiruaku, Edge, BC The pick at No. 56: Alfred Collins, DT, Texas The pick at No. 62: Darien Porter, CB, Iowa State The pick at No. 128: Tory Horton, WR, Colorado State The pick at No. 132: Caleb Rogers, G/T, Texas Tech The pick at No. 173: Jake Brinningstool, TE, Clemson The pick at No. 177: Dante Trader Jr., S, Maryland The pick at No. 206: James Burnip, P, Alabama Quote

I've watched a few of his games and I can see a good pass rusher - bend, flexibility, ability to set up the blockers for moves, but I'm not sure whether he can win wide with pure speed and that would be important at his size. Likewise, I think there is a tradeoff with Ezeiruaku where you get pass rush, but weakish run defense. He's not really the size you want playing the run. Collins in round 2 would be nice - I know he isn't a pass rusher, but I think he is a very good run stopper and would fit well next to Oliver. Porter at the end of round 2 seems too good to be true - I'd be happy with that if it happens. I might be inclined to double dip at CB in round 4 instead of Horton or the OG, but not if there aren't decent CB prospects available. Just my opinion! 2 Quote

He doesn’t have a jet like first step because, imo after watching a lot of his tape , he watches to see what the OT is doing before he decides which one of his many developed pass rush moves he’s going to use. He’s light but he was fine as a run defender in college and at the senior bowl. Pearce is the same weight, 3 pounds lighter than Mike Green and 2 inch longer arms, 9 pounds lighter than Nic Scourton. He’s not significantly smaller than the other DEs in his range. He’s more of a tactician than a pure speed rusher and he’ll prob get swallowed up sometimes by 330 pound guys but so will the rest of the DEs in this class at times 2 1 Quote

gonzo1105 Posted Friday at 05:23 PM Posted Friday at 05:23 PM Pretty impressive for a man at 330 pounds 3 Quote
RyanC883 Posted Friday at 07:02 PM Posted Friday at 07:02 PM Grant was gone, so I went with Nolan first. While Porter is raw, I think McD will be able to mold him into a freak CB. Love getting Bond, Bowman and West where I did. Mellow at 206 seems unlikely, but I'll take it. 2 hours ago, DJB said: I've gone back and forth, but I think I'd take Nolen over Williams and come back and get a 1T potential like West or Caldwell later in the draft. 5 hours ago, gonzo1105 said: Ezeiruaku is super underrated on this board. I liked him at first, but then was turned off by his size, mostly being 6' or so. But his arm length gives me hope. Hopefully McD won't be afraid to break the mold and gram him if he's around. Pairing him with a BIG 1T and Oliver on the inside could result in fantastic returns. 1 Quote

Not being argumentitive, generally curious. I'm fine until the Rogers pick, then it seems to be dart throwing. Seems like better OL, TE, and S options available when he picks. I think Horton may be underrated. On 3/20/2025 at 9:26 AM, LEBills said: https://www.nfl.com/news/2025-nfl-mock-draft-daniel-jeremiah-3-0 Daniel Jeremiah’s recent mock: 30.
