Killed the combine, tape is good not great, feel we need someone with more bend but the Bills are seriously considering him for sure This is the Bills we are talking about…they only need refer stiff edge rushers…😉 On 3/17/2025 at 7:51 PM, LEBills said: I don’t think there is a more Bills-y pick. I wouldn’t hate it but probably would be disappointed it wasn’t one of the players left on the board If he fell to the 3rd round and we drafted him, I would be ok with it 👍 Quote
Clyde Smith Posted March 19 Author Posted March 19 Recent mock I made. I see as we get closer to draft time, a lot of our picks are starting to look the same. Great minds think alike, Go Bills! 2 1 Quote
Maine-iac Posted March 19 Posted March 19 I still want Amos, Collins, and Mukuba early but all this talk about edge the more I look and consider where I'd draft edge and I might go for David Walker. Looks like a day 3 pick. I'd say he's a little Dumervil like but as good as he was he wasn't that dominant in college. On the plus side he is also a little bigger than Dumervil was at 6'1" 260. Combined with Solomon we might have a couple of QB hunters who could develop nicely. 1 1 Quote

Warriorspikes51 Posted March 19 Posted March 19 (edited) 30. DT Kenneth Grant 56. DT Alfred Collins 62. DE Landon Jackson End Friday night with this haul DL goes from an undersized interior to a fearsome massive powerful unit overall Beane doesn’t have the guts for it IMO DE: Bosa, (Hoecht), Solomon DT: Oliver, (Ogunjobi), Carter DT: Grant, Collins DE: Rousseau, Jackson Grant & Collins battling it out for leading the rotation would be a fun camp watch Edited March 19 by Warriorspikes51 1 1 Quote

I’d bet Beane doesn’t even draft 1 WR. Especially loving the 4 DT selections. 2 1 Quote

Oh, Beane will draft a WR, but they will be slower than Bond and Thornton… For some unknown reason, Beane seems allergic to speed, even though he keeps preaching that we need more of it…Lol 1 Quote

I agree on the WR. “Hope” for Palmar or Samuels to improve appears to be the strategy. Quote

Not that I know a lot about or have a problem with West. I just feel like we need more than one CB and with Grant and Collins drafted I'd feel comfortable taking a second corner and not a third DT. 1 Quote
gonzo1105 Posted March 19 Posted March 19 Jihaad Campbell had a torn labrum and just had surgery for it. Wonder if this will affect his stock any. 1 Quote
Lofton80 Posted March 19 Posted March 19 Nohl Williams is intriguing. 14 careers takeaways, good in man coverage and very physical, nice open field tackler. Alfred Collins at DT is impressive the way he sheds blocks. 1 Quote

Parrish would be some solid value in the 4th as he’s a solid man coverage guy who is only limited by his physicality. @Mark Vader, hopefully they take a flyer on a QB. These guys they have backing up Josh don’t cut the mustard per se. wouldn’t mind Rourke from Indiana or Ewers from Texas as other potential candidates outside Oregon’s Gabriel. 2 Quote

I don't necessarily HATE the unorthodox tripling up of DTs, but a) there is no way Collins is there at 109 and b) Grant, Collins, and West create triplicated role (NT/1T) redundancy that will be difficult to roster, much less get on the field. It's bad asset allocation. The two LBs are similarly redundant, given the Bills have their MLB locked up, and have young WLB depth already in the pipeline behind Milano's final run. Doubling up at CB, for example, would be much more valuable, imho. Not in love with Noel as a fit for a team who has a long term slot already, plus a flexible backup (Samuel) under contract for 2 more seasons, and Kincaid and Coleman who can motion into slot. The 4th DT is just a PS throwaway at best. Plus, what if Cook actually plays out his rookie deal? How does Sanders make the 53 or sneak onto the PS? I see regrettably wasted picks due to poor roster/scheme fits and redundancy. Grant, Collins, and West are all great targets for the Bills, individually. But together, would deserve serious criticism. Quote
