I could live with either of Nolan or Harmon as they still have some stoutness vs the run - especially Harmon. There are reports that some teams really like Nolan and others really see him as a 2nd or 3rd rounder. I forget who posted a good link to that speculation. 1 Quote

Just about every evaluation says he’s a “work in progress” as a pass rusher. Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t want another guy that just takes up double teams and can’t get home. Get me a wrecker that gets to the qb. Derrick Harmon and Walter Nolen are those guys from what I’ve read. I’ve really cooled on Kenneth Grant after reading more about him. Imo thats why he will be available. Dexter Lawerence and Chistian Wilkins imo. Lawerence was perceived as a 2 down player. In reality Lawerence blew up plays and Wilkins cleaned them up. Buffalo needs a DT like Lawerence to open the interior up for Oliver and Benard. A player like Grant unlocks players around him more so than guys with better pass rushing profiles. Buffalo has a top third of the league 3 tech. They need a 1 tech. Badly. Or they need to move on from Oliver. His style does not mesh without a guy that eats double teams. 2 1 1 Quote

Interesting. Give me Harmon then. Haha. If not a DT, then take golden if he’s available and finally complete the wr room with a full skill set. 1 hour ago, Mat68 said: Imo thats why he will be available. If that’s what you need then you can easily get a fat DT in round 2 or 4. This is a very deep DT class and if you can’t find someone to disrupt then just wait. Someone to absorb doubles reminds me a lot of Star lotulalei. Get me a DT with pass rushing skills at 30 or just wait. Just my opinion 1 Quote

Imo those guys can become better pass rushers. They will get less attention from opposing teams protection in the pros early on than they have had in years. Guys don't become more stout against the run in the pros. Scheme and fit. Buffalo has a 3 Tech in Oliver. Carter seemed to play his best filling in at 3 tech with Oliver limited/injured. Thats 2 3 techs. Jones and Johnson are not it at 1 Tech. That is the need. They haven't had a long term answer at 1 tech in years. Get a guy that immediately improves the run defense. In situations vs lesser guards he can man handle on passing downs. 1 Quote
quincy Posted February 25 Posted February 25 2 x Edge and 2 x DT with CB, WR and S being the other choices. Bech was value at 108 I thought, probably an unlikely fall to occur in April. Just had to trade with KC. Grant is there most times at 30 but will not be there in April. 4 extra picks for 2026 and i thought McCord the Syracuse QB was worth a shot in the 5th round. Chicago mysteriously wanted pick 181 so I took their 3 for 2 offer even though the trade value probably didn't add up. 1 1 Quote

RyanC883 Posted February 28 Posted February 28 this one went more offense on me than expected, was taking BPA at positions where we have a need. Fannin likely makes Knox tradable or Kincaid redundant if he does not improve. . Quote

But I thought it was ironic that NFL.com has the NFL comparison for Mikel Williams as a Mr Gregory Rousseau. 1 Quote

RyanC883 Posted Monday at 04:56 PM Posted Monday at 04:56 PM this draft assumes that Cook is not here next year. Not sure the RB I got is an adequate replacement or not. I feel like some of these picks are steals (Bond in the 4th, Jay Higgins in the 6th). 12 hours ago, Maine-iac said: Gave this another spin. Could only hope.
