All Im sayin in is if they are crowding the line helmets over it - after the first one- gotta jump over... vary snap count... something different.

Yea I mean I was just pointing out this is hindsight-driven…if you vary the snap count and false start you look dumb as he** too.  I can definitely see just ramming it in there a couple inches.  If it was a full yard and they got stuffed I’d 100% agree without adding any comments lol

that really shouldve been they had to just move the nose of the football any amount forward but we got straight up robbed on the Kincaid spot too.  Couple inches though should still be a pretty easy pickup and it was if you ask me.  The absolute worst case scenario was the chiefs stopping it just after he broke the plane which is what happened, near side ref just absolutely screwed us with no view of the play.

I don’t think he knew josh had the ball tucked up high on his chest so he probably thought when Josh’s upper body got tipped over the line the ball didn’t come with it. Other ref that spotted it a first had a much better view.  I think he just didn’t fight hard for his spot because Chris jones blocked his view for a split second but the other guy didn’t ever see sh*t 😂

The funny thing is the official with the actual view of where the ball was marked it a 1st down... the league chose to go with the official that couldnt see where the ball was instead of the official that clearly saw it was a 1st down.  I am sorry I dont like to conspiracy theory but this is utterly inexcusable so much so that it leaves you wondering why?....

oh yea 100% agree…I think the far side ref who saw the ball 95% of the play was like ‘Chris jones got in the way for a split second what did you see’ and the other dude played the whole ‘josh probably had the ball low in his gut I don’t think he got it I had a great view of his body’ but josh had it up high the whole time.

the only argument for spotting that short is Josh’s upper body made it but the ball didn’t come with him.  100% not the case though.  He gets tipped forward like a tea kettle and the ball absolutely breaks the plane.  Anyone saying it didn’t probably thinks the whole ball had to get over

the Kincaid spot was even worse the play before lol and the josh one was real bad

Bills shouldve adjusted after the first one... refs werent calling so go to something else

A good friend is a cameraman for the video contractor that the networks use. He was working the Bills x Chiefs game. He said the Chiefs practiced stopping the Tush Push all week. It was a point of focus. He’s covered the Bills and the Chiefs multiple games all season. He says KC is always super prepared and detailed. Based on the limited experience he has had on site. Something tells me McD is nowhere as well prepared.

Also Mahomes is fiery and clutch.

I mean the 4th down and short playbook gets real small if you can’t hold up well enough to block a 5 inch sneak lol (they did but that’s kind of another story 😂).

the ‘do something else’ crowd would’ve gone ballistic if we threw an incomplete pass or a toss got blown up in the backfield instead of sneaking on 4th and inches.  It would’ve been the most mocked decision of all time.

Allen is just as good if not better runner than Mahomes. I don’t get why they don’t roll him out on an rpo the way KC does. How could the defense stop that when you only need a couple of yards.

I started thinking about this a couple years ago.  The NFL would love to have the bills win the super bowl in their final season at the old stadium, and then in 2026 when the bills open their new stadium have the first NFL game of the year be in Buffalo.

We are even slated to play Detroit in 2026. My prediction : Week 1 Detroit @ Buffalo in a super bowl rematch.

So does this mean the refs will be on our side next year ??

There’s nothing more intriguing than a person or team almost getting over the top. There’s a finality to it when they do and the enthusiasm naturally wears off the moment after they reach the pinnacle. The NFL doesn’t care if the Bills win one or not, they just want us in the mix every season while Josh is here.

If we get one, then when we meet KC in the playoffs the narrative will be “Two AFC titians battling it out to see who makes it to this SB!”. Good, but not the great intrigue of “Will this be Buffalo’s year?” A lot more sympathy and emotion for the casual football fan in that second one.

Is that you in your avatar ? It’s been bothering me for years.

At this point I'm starting to believe that the only way buffalo gets to a superbowl is if Mahomes is out for the season

No. Though it does look a lot like I did when I was (much) younger. That’s part of my private joke. It’s a prominent picture of Doug Forcett in the show The Good Place:

Douglas "Doug" L. Forcett is a former stoner from Calgary, who during the 1970s gained fame in the afterlife by making an almost perfectly accurate prediction about its inner workings.

The character shows up later in the show as an older man, played by Michael McKean. You might know him as the lead singer of Spinal Tap or as Lenny on Laverne and Shirley (if you’re really old). He’s also been in a bunch of Christopher Guest movies and other stuff.

I know that was way more than you asked for, but it all is humorous to me.

Yeah or another team takes them out. Also, kelce retiring and taking Taylor Swift with him will help .

Kelce (like most greats) will overstay their welcome by a year or two.  He ain't retiring.

The NFL barely cares about the Bills,  but if I’m Allen, and I actually win a SB with the Bills, I retire immediately after the game,

Unsure if the NFL is aware of this. But teams are allowed to win the Super Bowl twice.

FWIW Turner Construction who is building the new Bills stadium also built Yankee Stadium and SoFi. Both teams won their a championship in year 1 in their new building.
