TrentEdwardsCheckDownOn4th Posted January 29 Posted January 29 I started thinking about this a couple years ago. The NFL would love to have the bills win the super bowl in their final season at the old stadium, and then in 2026 when the bills open their new stadium have the first NFL game of the year be in Buffalo. We are even slated to play Detroit in 2026. My prediction : Week 1 Detroit @ Buffalo in a super bowl rematch. 1 1 Quote

Detroit lost both coordinators…..Campbell ain’t that good of a coach to overcome that. 1 1 Quote

BarleyNY Posted January 29 Posted January 29 There’s nothing more intriguing than a person or team almost getting over the top. There’s a finality to it when they do and the enthusiasm naturally wears off the moment after they reach the pinnacle. The NFL doesn’t care if the Bills win one or not, they just want us in the mix every season while Josh is here. If we get one, then when we meet KC in the playoffs the narrative will be “Two AFC titians battling it out to see who makes it to this SB!”. Good, but not the great intrigue of “Will this be Buffalo’s year?” A lot more sympathy and emotion for the casual football fan in that second one. 1 Quote
Steptide Posted January 29 Posted January 29 At this point I'm starting to believe that the only way buffalo gets to a superbowl is if Mahomes is out for the season 1 4 1 Quote

Also, kelce retiring and taking Taylor Swift with him will help . Quote

Don Otreply Posted January 29 Posted January 29 The NFL barely cares about the Bills, but if I’m Allen, and I actually win a SB with the Bills, I retire immediately after the game, Quote

ALLinALLEN Posted January 29 Posted January 29 They will be glazing the chiefs all year (again) as they go for the 4 peat. Which they'll probably get too - just to rub in the 4 straight in our face. 1 1 Quote

zow2 Posted January 29 Posted January 29 We just went through a season with a record low turnovers, probably close to a team record high takeaways, healthy OLine all season....relatively healthy across the board compared to other teams, super high point totals and point differential.. And yet they still don't reach the SB. I'm not sure they will be so fortunate next season, you can't count on it. The Bills are right there for 4+ years as maybe the best team in the NFL and no SB appearances. It's pretty depressing when you think about it. 2 1 Quote

It would’ve been the most mocked decision of all time. Edited January 29 by Generic_Bills_Fan Quote
Bills!Win! Posted January 29 Posted January 29 The hardest part for me is that Rich stadium will never have a championship banner ceremony before it’s knocked down Quote

All Im sayin in is if they are crowding the line helmets over it - after the first one- gotta jump over... vary snap count... something different. Quote
