Beane blew last season and not trading up to get Bryan Thomas ,  6"3 and 4.3 forty and already considered a top 8 receiver in the NFL.  We could have easily move up past the Jags to get him.

and you know this how? easier said than done.

Dude ran a 4.3 officially at the combine. At that size that's freakish. I'd take a mid-round chance on him. Unless he's got a truly uncoachable attitude, you coach him up and even if all he can do are fly routes year one, that's ok. I love his size and speed.

For all his "freakishness", he managed to catch only 26 passes last season.  He never caught even 20 balls in a season before that.  I would shy away until maybe the 5th round given that lack of production, especially considering that Tennessee has a way of making fast receivers like Jalin Hyatt look good.

More Misses then Wins.

About half of all first round picks are "misses" even if they aren't outright busts.  Most "misses" just aren't as good as expected, including some others who develop into very good or even excellent players who are just not the game changers that some fans expect every first round pick should be.  Oliver and Rousseau are definitely among this group.  Put Garrett at one end of the Bills DL, and Oliver and Rousseau suddenly become so much better that even the haters on TSW might possibly change their tunes about them -- and Beane's drafting prowess.

Dont’e Thornton and BTJ posted basically identical combine numbers. The production is much different but both very explosive. Thornton was an elite low volume WR this year and the Bills offense is a low volume target share offense so would be a great fit imo.

I feel like Thornton could be a sneaky good pick/player

Same measurements as DK Metcalf picked at the end of the second well after Cody Ford. 26 catches senior year. Just like Thornton. He may not be there in the third with those measurables and the metcalf history lesson.

This but Cooper DeJean instead.

Just heard on the latest Marino podcast that the Bills face the highest amount of man coverage in the league. If that's not a sign that the WR room is NOT fine the way it is, I don't know what is.

and Marino said that indicates that defenses have zero respect for our WRs
