John Gianelli Posted yesterday at 02:14 AM Posted yesterday at 02:14 AM It's Jack Kemp. The frustration of the four Super Bowl losses and our inability to get back to the Super Bowl under Josh Allen have convinced me that the real sign of greatness is motivating your team to win the biggest game. Kemp led the Bills to two league championships in 1964 and 1965. He wasn't as gifted an athlete as Allen, and didn't rack up the stats like Kelly. But he knew how to motivate his team to win when it counted most. I watched the '65 game when I was 8 years old. I wish every Bills fan could know what it feels like to win it all. 9 2 2 5 4 2 Quote

Low Positive Posted yesterday at 02:20 AM Posted yesterday at 02:20 AM Jack Kemp never had a completion percentage over 46% in Buffalo. In the 1964 AFL championship season, he had 44%, 13Tds and 26 INTs. 3 5 Quote

The Cincinnati Kid Posted yesterday at 02:25 AM Posted yesterday at 02:25 AM (edited) Josh Allen is the best QB the Bills have ever had and might be the best they ever do have. It’s not even a debate. Edited yesterday at 02:26 AM by The Cincinnati Kid 2 8 1 1 Quote

The argument that the OP is making is like saying that Trent Dilfer is better than Dan Marino just because he happened to ride a defense and a running game to a SB. 11 minutes ago, Sojourner said: How many points could Jack put on our defense? Zero. All those guys chain smoked and didn't work out. This years Panthers would smoke the 1966 Packers. 1 1 2 2 Quote

zow2 Posted yesterday at 02:33 AM Posted yesterday at 02:33 AM Jack Kemp was the man back in the day. QB’s are part of the puzzle, a big part. But defense still has a big hand in Championships. Which QB tandem would y’all rather have in your teams history? Steelers: Bradshaw / Big Ben Bills: Kelly / Allen I’d rather have our guys, not even close. But those Steelers QBs have all the hardware 3 Quote
Gugny Posted yesterday at 02:36 AM Posted yesterday at 02:36 AM The best thing Kemp ever did was to come out of the closet. Too bad he didn’t have the guts to do it while he was playing. 1 1 1 Quote
Low Positive Posted yesterday at 02:36 AM Posted yesterday at 02:36 AM 7 NFL QBs had completion percentages over 50% in 1964. 1 minute ago, zow2 said: Jack Kemp was the man back in the day.
