I actually hope it’s so successful you get rich, and GOP opponent in 2028 determines it’s a threat to the environment and vows to regulate the companies out of existence. There might be a landing pad in North Buffalo, drive to it, and get whisked to airport in 7 minutes or less. I bet the sky will be filled with these things ten years from now

This is not to mention all the private citizens who's land would be affected. Ya, almost totally impossible to do in any reasonably inexpensive way. The infrastructure necessary for even a regular train is enormous and bullet trains are even worse. These flying taxis use the air mostly as infrastructure. Just way less headache getting these things going. Of course there will be accidents and that will scare people, but cars, trains and ships have accidents too.
