Buffalo_Stampede Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago James Cook was outstanding. I called him a replaceable RB and wanted to see him in the playoffs. Well he proved me wrong. He’s a special talent. Another one, Mack Hollins. Just making me look dumb. He’s such a valuable player to this team. Watch his block on Cooks first TD vs Chiefs. He makes the whole thing happen. He can do that and beat all pro Trent McDuffie deep? Flowers to you sir! 1 1 Quote
Don Otreply Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago (edited) We have some good pieces going forward, we need some quality in FA and the draft,🤞 GO BILLS!!! Edited 21 hours ago by Don Otreply 1 1 Quote
Dillenger4 Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago Great Post OP. Well done and I agree 100% with you. I'll add my props for the season: Ty Johnson. Always came to play and made some fantastic plays for us. 1 1 Quote
Charles Romes Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago I am not sure we’ve ever had a FA that’s exceeded expectations more than Hollins. 1 Quote
Pete Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago Joe Marino said Dorian Williams made two incredible hustle plays. One was the punt return. Dorian missed tackling the returner, and fell down. Dorian got on his feet and saved a TD running 40+ yards dowmfield. We need to get Dorian Williams more reps! 1 Quote
Mr. WEO Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago Cook has been touted everywhere on media as a stud this year: 2nd 1000 yards season in a row, 16 rushing TDs and 2 TD catches. I don't understand how it can be posted that a lot of posters here wanted him traded "all season". Bass didn't screw up. For my money, that 2022 team was batter all around. 2nd in points, 2nd in yards and points per drive2nd in points allowed, 7th in passing, 7th in rushing. 13 seconds of stroke protocol for McD was the difference. Bills would have killed that Eagles team. 1 Quote

Speaking of pleasant surprises all season have been Ty Johnson and Davis. PS I want to keep that Oline together for few years perhap 😉 Quote

Interesting perspective. I’m inclined to agree. Bryce Paup or Ted come to mind. But that was a long time ago. Edited 18 hours ago by Mikie2times 1 Quote

If you re-sign him, I think he has to be your last DT. his game is basically guessing the snap and getting a massive jump if he's right, an Offside penalty if he isn't. His sack at the end of that game was a microcosm of his entire career, very high vol. Glad it worked out on that play! Wish it ultimately made a difference 😭 Quote
Jerome007 Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Hollins has been the pleasant surprise this season. Like many, I was thinking WT H are they keeping him for. And then he made plays. And really good run blocking. And that attitude. He really got better as the year went on. His two catches vs KC were clutch and big ones! Unless he asks too much, sign the man! 1 Quote

Wish it ultimately made a difference 😭 Right he can get after the QB, but unfortunately he can be pretty lousy against the run. Maybe it’s because they are playing him out of position but over the past few seasons he’s been on the field when the defense has gotten gashed. That’s why you can’t depend on him much especially as a veteran player 1 Quote
