nedboy7 Posted January 29 Posted January 29 Most people I know love the Bills. I hope they dont read this board during games. That would be embarrassing. 1 Quote

It could have been Detroit - San Diego and it would have had 123 million. Whether its Bills-Dolphins, Bills-Steelers, Bills-Broncos, Bills-Ravens, or Bills-Chiefs ... the Bills consistently have the most watched or 2nd most watched playoff game of the entire round theyre playing in. It's the Bills. There is no chance this is true. Viewership varies, but anyone with even over the air network access has been able to watch for free. No special/extra access needed. The last 2 SBs with KC had 25 million more viewers than LA-Cin just 3 seasons ago. Lots of people hate-watch the Chiefs, you know. Everyone here will be tuning in, despite what they may post.... Cinci was higher than KC. Hate to break it to ya. Its not KC. Quote

Its not KC. so it's some magical force of nature that makes the ratings go up only on the 3rd year? lol you left out 2016, when the ratings were down from the previous 2 years. you left out 2019, when the ratings were down from the previous 2 years. KC vs TB was down because Tampa has no national fan base and people were tired of Brady in the SB. KC/SF and KC/Phil had better ratings because of the opposing fanbase size. Rams/Bengals had no national appeal other than as a game to watch--neither team has a national fan base of note. Ratings dipped for Rams/NE as well. As soon as KC was back a year later (2023), a massive ratings increase is seen, and then since. 22 minutes ago, D. L. Hot-Flamethrower said: Bull ***** you aren't watching? Quote
Scott7975 Posted January 29 Posted January 29 I know one Bills fan that won't be watching the superbowl. I already know the story so why bother. Quote

No magic about it. The NFL has made expanding its audience a priority. 1 hour ago, Mr. WEO said: you left out 2016, when the ratings were down from the previous 2 years. you left out 2019, when the ratings were down from the previous 2 years. That doesn't help your case. The NFL went through a 4 year viewership slump from Super Bowl 2018 to 2021. KC was in 2 of those 4 Super Bowls. 1 hour ago, Mr. WEO said: KC vs TB was down because Tampa has no national fan base and people were tired of Brady in the SB. The year before that had a SF with a massive market and it was 10 million lower than 2016. 1 hour ago, Mr. WEO said: Rams/Bengals had no national appeal other than as a game to watch--neither team has a national fan base of note. I'll allow you to have the last word. 1 Quote
dayman Posted January 29 Posted January 29 Bills have been one of the most liked teams for years. My guess is at some point (probably now) that will wear off due to the consistent failure Quote

And, as said, if it involves the Chiefs there will be a degree of hate watching. Quote
