The Bills-Chiefs AFCCG was the most watched AFCCG in the history of the NFL, at 57 million viewers.

Unlike what some media outlets may lead you to believe, it’s not because of the Chiefs. The Bills are the main draw.

- The Bills were the 2nd most-viewed game of the wild-card round (even against a mediocre Denver team) at 31.1 million.

- The Bills were the most-viewed game of the divisional round at 42.2 million.

- The Bills were the most-viewed game of the Championship round at 56.7 million.

The common denominator is the Bills every time.

This is NOT good. For as much as the NFL likes to control the narrative, the narrative on the Bills, and part of the reason people watch, is they just can't seem to break through. Outside of the diehard mafia, they are the lovable underdogs that you can't help but pull for. With ratings like that, the NFL has no reason for the narrative to change which means the lean of the officiating will NEVER change... the sad thing is I'm only partially kidding.

Chiefs going for history and the Bills trying to finally knock that door down.  Two best QB's in the league facing off against each other.  It was a great game to watch if you're an NFL fan.  Torturous for us but I'm sure the league was happy with the results.

just like how everyone used to read peanuts comics to see charlie brown the lovable loser get the football yanked away, they tune in to see the exquisite pain the bills can inflict upon their fans.

Cheap thrills for people who haven't gone through the ***** and just like to jump on shoulders.

Not just that man. People love watching winning teams with elite quarterbacks.

Most football fans tune in to root for Buffalo as they’ve changed from mediocrity too. Bandwagon or not, it’s good for the league but also the Bills. Win/Win.

People also love watching winners lose. Especially dynastic teams.

Pretty much it. "Yeah the lovable losers made it a close and fun game",  but the NFL Vegas and Taylor swifts brand all got what they knew was coming.

When Lamar officially wins MVP over Josh next week, we’ll once again be reminded how we can’t win anything 😢

That's not it. We can't appreciate how much fun Josh Allen is to watch because we live and die with every play. I know a lot of fans of other teams, and they tell me that the Bills are a must-watch unless their team is playing.

The local rating in the WNY is absolutely insane.  I can’t remember the exact number but a ridiculous amount of TV’s were tuned to the Bills game on Sunday.

A lot of those who tuned in were angered that the Chiefs win was Ref assisted.  They are posting such on social media.  Perhaps the NFL will realize the Bills and Josh Allen are a humble, likeable team that fans can get behind and root for.  The NFL would be wise to take notice.

Josh is a star. I can't wait to see him host SNL. (Gotta win the Super Bowl for that.)

The league and CBS were happy as soon as the Chiefs beat the Texans. Whether it was the Ravens or the Bills at Arrowhead, it was going to rate well. Sorry, but no way would Texans at Bills have pulled in that many viewers.
