He hates the pro bowl.  I don't think he will ever go,,, maybe it was from being snubbed in the past.  i sometimes wonder if not going makes him less popular amongst his peers on other teams.

It is a complete joke and for those unaware they mainly do "Skills competitions" these days with a flag football game mixed in.

 

I do wish he would at least go as it's a great opportunity to schmooze with other good players and maybe convince them to come to Buffalo. Play the recruitment card.

I've seen clips of him doing interviews over the past few years at the Friday and Saturday leading up to the Super Bowl.  He probably does his schmoozing there.

There's no word on that.  We have to keep in mind the last few years he was out in the Divisional round so he had a couple weeks to be registered, make arrangements for Pebble, etc.   This season he made the AFCCG, and his mindset was probably making plans for the Super Bowl.   So to go from a right wrist issue to playing golf in like 3 days, and having all those arrangements made, seems a stretch.  But hey, ya never know?!
