NoHuddleKelly12 Posted February 8 Posted February 8 Imho you never really get over any of the emotionally devastating losses…just add scar tissue layers. Shoot, I still inwardly cringe thinking about our Super Bowls, and that’s a lifetime ago now. That said, time heals it at least enough to allow the mind to be sucked right back in on this team by the time FA and the draft rolls around…and why wouldn’t we want to watch a generational talent like Josh play? So to make a long story short too late, it’s ok enough this many days gone by to know I’ll be back for more that this team dishes out. 😅 3 1 Quote
Thrivefourfive Posted February 8 Posted February 8 The thing that keeps me going. That keeps me.. alive. Is that the Eagles woulda killed the Bills. Shut up. That’s they way I believe it okayyyyyy 1 Quote

What if the NFL is scripted and the Bills lost because they had to. Feel better? Quote

I think about that final drive with 3 and a half mins left and how cook wasn't out there. I think about how much better that drive could've been and yet, the bills did nothing creative. Buffalo should be playing this Sunday, but the coaching staff failed us once again He was there on the 4th down play. But yeah they should’ve gave him the ball on that last series. 1st down run would’ve been nice. 1 Quote
KCNC Posted February 8 Posted February 8 Still more disappointed than angry. I tend to not blame things on the refs. My wife and I are not watching the SB this year. First time in over 40 years. Hate both teams and just don't feel like it. The MVP for Josh, while deserved and happy for him, does not move the needle much for me. 1 Quote

Ray Stonada Posted February 8 Posted February 8 I want the Chiefs to lose, due to bitterness. But on the other hand, if the Chiefs win, we will be the only team that beat them in a meaningful game this season. So I guess it's a win-win 🤣 2 Quote

Big Turk Posted February 9 Posted February 9 (edited) "Sunshine go away today... Don't feel much like dancin'... Some refs gone and tried to run the game... Don't know what they're askin'... They tell me I better get in line.... Can't hear what they're sayin'... How much do they cost? I'll buy them... The games are all we've lost... I'll try them... They can't even spot the damn ball right, I'll be damned if they spot mine... Sunshine..." Edited February 9 by Big Turk 2 Quote
Olliemets Posted February 9 Posted February 9 I've avoided sports radio, reading stuff online, and anything related to the Super Bowl. An occasional peek at these boards and I refocus towards Baseball and the rest of the Hockey Season. I'll turn on the TV at 6:30, and root for Saquon. As a downstater tough to root for any Philly Team Still disappointed obviously. Josh winning the MVP and the love/respect shown for him across a lot of the Country let alone WNY has eased the pain a bit. Quote
billsfan714 Posted February 9 Posted February 9 (edited) No better really, I know if we dont fix this defense the superbowl will continue to be a pipe dream. On offense with Josh and Co, I think we can hang with anybody. See the Rams and Lions games. Though we got turnovers against the Ravens, the flipside is they also never punted and the Chiefs scored 30 for the first time this season against us. I just will never see McD as some defensive savant, or anything close to that. The D in the last game of the season pretty much always comes up short. I think we're asking way too much of Josh if he has to consistently score 35-42 to get the Superbowl and win it. Edited February 9 by billsfan714 1 Quote
MWK Posted February 9 Posted February 9 (edited) Just as bad because Sean McDermott and Brandon Beane are still in charge. The poor drafting and excuses will continue. Edited February 9 by MWK Quote
transient Posted February 9 Posted February 9 A bit better with the ax falling on Guy Smiley… Not as “in the moment” angry, but time has done nothing to lessen my desire to see Jalen Carter tear Mahomes’s arm off and beat Kelce senseless with it… Quote
