Jauronimo Posted February 7 Posted February 7 Allen winning the Lady Byng award really has done nothing to make me feel any less sad and numb about yet another loss to the Chiefs. 1 Quote
Steptide Posted February 7 Posted February 7 Still angry honestly. And as much as I try not to think about it, I find myself thinking about it alot. I think about that final drive with 3 and a half mins left and how cook wasn't out there. I think about how much better that drive could've been and yet, the bills did nothing creative. Buffalo should be playing this Sunday, but the coaching staff failed us once again 2 Quote
26TrapDraw Posted February 7 Posted February 7 Worse because all the amvp talk is coming from New Orleans at the Superbowl where this Bills Team needs to be instead of sitting on their ass this Sunday. Quote

The KC chiefs have their winning tradition. The Pats had theirs too. Did we all mope when they were kicking our bodums every year? Of course UNTIL THEY WEREN"T champs anymore. Than it was time to snark em and LAUGH at them. SO WILL IT BE THE SAME FOR KANSAS CITY CHIEFS Their glory will NOT last forever. It won't. **** Them.. 1 Quote
RiotAct Posted February 7 Posted February 7 I’ve been okay with it since last Wednesday. Not HAPPY, but okay. Quote
JP51 Posted February 7 Posted February 7 Better. Happy for Josh, Happy for the new Defensive coaches... happy there is some level of hope in getting a game wrecker like Garrett or Crosby no matter how much of a longshot... happy to hear McD talk about needing a game wrecker... Happy so much attention is being placed on the officiating as I think no matter what the x files answer is it needs to get better... and actually optimistic that the NFL got Taylor to the SB and might just be fine with the Eagles winning it... so we get a reasonable officiated game... and like every year looking forward to how we are going to draft and sign FA ... even though we seem to fail there more often that I would like... there are successes... Albwan Posted February 7 Posted February 7 I find myself wondering why I've wasted more than half my life routing for a bunch of guys to win a game. I've got nothing. 2 Quote
MikePJ76 Posted February 7 Posted February 7 It never gets better. I would like to rewatch the game but I am not ready for that. This is why the universe gave us people like the great Sam Cooke. 1 Quote
Straight Hucklebuck Posted February 7 Posted February 7 I listen to Brandon Beane and its a lot of Chiefs praise, excuses about injuries and new players needing time to gel. His core philosophy is to keep "kicking the door down" until it breaks by re-signing our own players and filling in the gaps through FA with limited cap space. It's an approach that hasn't worked, and has left Allen with a knife during Playoff gunfights over and over again. I don't believe in Sean McDermott or Brandon Beane to give Allen enough firepower to win a single Super Bowl. Beane saying you can't pin it on Sean McDermott. He's a 7-7 Playoff Coach who had ample opportunity across several seasons to advance to a Super Bowl. I think loss Wildcard (0-1), loss Wildcard (0-2), win Wildcard (1-2), Win Divisional (2-2), loss AFCCG (2-3), win Wildcard (3-3), loss Divisional (3-4), win Wildcard (4-4), loss Divisional (4-5), win Wildcard (5-5), loss Divisional (5-6), win Wildcard (6-6), win Divisional (7-6), loss AFCCG (7-7) has defined the line that this staff can't get over. This is not a one or two year barrier. Furthermore: 1. If Allen is able to win one (1) Super Bowl with the Bills, we're going to look back and say happy for all the fans, family, friends and the city to finally get one, but did we maximize Allen's career? 2. I've followed Buffalo sports forever, and eventually that usually means your best players asking for a trade out of town because your team can't get it done. Sorry if you don't want to hear that. Bottom Line: McDermott and Beane are not entitled to Allen's entire career. Next season he is 29 years-old. 8 years in. I think it should be McDermott and Beane's last year in Buffalo barring a Super Bowl victory. They've had 1/2 of Allen's career now. They had enough chances to get him a #1 WR and pair that #1 WR with a complete WR group so that in this big games, it's not veteran minimum free agents that Allen has to throw passes to in order to overcome a defense that allows 32-ppg. 1 1 Quote
damj Posted February 7 Posted February 7 It's been a rough week and a half, but Josh getting MVP and locking in my seats for the new stadium have me excited again! 3 1 3 Quote
Success Posted February 7 Posted February 7 It's challenging to NOT be frustrated by how things played out. That was such a winnable game. And America in general is just dismayed by this match-up - I kind of mourn the loss of a Bills/Commanders game that would have been some new faces & more exciting storylines. Even though they had the better record - we had a better season than KC, and we were the better team. Man, it's frustrating. 1 Quote
SinceThe70s Posted February 8 Posted February 8 I can't wait for the Super Bowl to be over. I'll watch but I can't remember ever being this disinterested in the game. I'm hoping after it's over I'll stop dwelling on the Bills last game. Quote
BillsfaninChicago Posted February 8 Posted February 8 The girl I had been dating for two months from Bumble got annoyed because I was too busy to take her. Because of this she said she was going to take a 15 hour road trip from Jamestown with “just a friend” to the game. She then disappeared for 15 hours between the 1st quarter and the next morning. The next day when I asked her where she went she gave me a Juliet Jake litany of reason as to why she could not respond to my calls or texts. She also said she had to share her bed with her friend to save money. it was a nice consolation that they had to drive back with an L hungover the next day but I am still mad we got screwed. Even though my ex and her “just a friend” did some more screwing later that night I am sure. I mean that was literally the Mr. Brightside song. If my cuckatooing isn’t a sign I am a die hard Bills fan I don’t know what else is! Quote
BILLS 4 EVER Posted February 8 Posted February 8 If you are asking if I am still pissed off about the Bills getting shafted, the answer is........ YES! 2 Days until the Super Bowl and the only great news is that Josh got MVP. YES.. he deserved it. But KC does not deserve to be in this game and as much as I hate doing it, I am boycotting the game. F;CK KC 1 Quote

Please I wanna visit the alternate universe where we didn’t sneak on 4th and a few inches and we got stopped lol. That’d probably be the most criticized playcall in nfl history the whole debate is a bit weird…in hindsight knowing they’re gonna screw you out of a whole half yard on a sneak then you’ve got a 4th and 1 and definitely don’t sneak. There’s no way we didn’t pick up that 4th and inches though it’s pretty much physically impossible…they would’ve had to reverse Josh’s momentum pretty much instantly which definitely didn’t happen Quote
