Still annoyed, but Whatev.

I've actually been thinking about the superbowl, I'm rooting for the eagles as I'm sure many are. What I really want though, is the Chiefs to lose in the most heart breaking fashion possible. I'm trying to think of the last time the Chiefs lost in a heart breaking way. I mean, honestly when was the last time? Maybe last year when the bills beat them and Mahomes was crying cuz Kelces lateral didn't count? I legit cannot remember the last time kc lost to a last second fg. Someone refresh my memory

Regular season losses are not heartbreaking. It would have to be 2018 AFCCG against Brady and the Pats. The one where Mahomes didn’t get the ball in OT. It was Mahomes first year as a starter.

That one was actually heartbreaking for ME.

My list of heartbreak as a fan dwarfs any KC fan's, or any fan for that matter. I was even a fan of Greg Norman in golf.

Maybe heart breaking is to strong a word. How about just upsetting? I mean, if their last upsetting/heart breaking loss was 2018, that is just insane

I only find myself getting pissed off again when people I've never met before happens to see Bills accessories on my car and whatnot come up to me and saying how much we got f*cked.

Then I get all in the conversation seeing it play out again lol

They seemed pretty upset losing to the Bills last regular season. The Kadarius Toney offside one.

The one where the Chiefs got screwed over by the refs repeatedly. But instead of pout about it or claim some grand conspiracy, they came back the next year and won the Super Bowl.

That was the young KC chiefs.  As evidenced by the Kadarius Toney offensive Offside game, they've changed.  They are still the most resilient team in the NFL, but you definitely can't say they don't pout anymore.

This is exactly what my problem is. Everyone knows how I feel about the Bills, so it's either talking about how they got screwed or it's others thinking it's funny to get on me about it. At least in the drought years when someone said "maybe next year" we all knew it wasn't going to be. Now "maybe next year actually holds some truth and for that to get ripped away in such almost "predictable" ways just gets at you even more.

not true in any sense - the only

time the refs screw the chiefs is when the chiefs are up and they want to keep it close - that’s my opinion.

hope the eagles win but couldn’t care less - I won’t watch it

Maybe it's just me in my later years, but if I was still upset 9 days about a game played by others that I had no way to control the outcome of I would really have to consider getting professional help.

  • ShakAttack changed the title to Day #10 after the loss to KC: Feeling better? Worse? Why? (Thread started at Day #2)

To be fair, I started this thread after day #2, but I’ve been updating the title each since then, as it remains active. It seems that many of us have moved on at this point, but the memory sticks around as just another missed opportunity to go along with the rest of them.

This Super Bowl media week never helps though, because of all the Chiefs talk that goes on (and practically no mention of the Eagles). And this year in particular, everyone seems to be treating it as if they’ve won the game, before it has even been played. That makes me want to see them lose even more.

honestly I am still depressed and pissed.

Not sure how much I want to invest in next season.

They aren't Bills fans, the AFCCG appalled them.

If people want to see change in the NFL regarding much of the stuff many fans have discussed this is the only recourse. Hit them where it hurt$. Regular season Home games being played in other countries, Blatantly obvious bad officiating, gambling...  the league needs a stern reminder who there cash cow is.  Problem is I doubt most fans would. I mean look at the WWE. Completely fake, openly admitted yet dumb asses still pay money for that tripe.

Fans have all the control if they would use it
