After spending high picks on Coleman and Kincaid , combined with a brutal WR class I’d be shocked if we spend any high draft capital on WR.

I don't think that would stop them if the right player were available.  We know they were desperate enough to trade a third for Cooper.  That didn't work out and I'd be surprised if they re-sign him.  Coleman should and will get another chance,  but he didn't do anything in the last 8 games to inspire confidence that he's the answer.  They still don't have any speed at all on the outside.

Until they fix that position group,  I think they have little choice but to continue trying to address it. If they don't,  the risk increases that their opponents will make roster moves this offseason to further restrict this passing game.  It's not far from being a catastrophic problem.

Speed at Wr.  Size on the Dline.  Luckily both are in abundance this year in the draft.  Need a Corner opposite Bedford. Obvious depth elsewhere.  Would consider drafting a mid rd back.

Need to prepare for the potential of letting one or both of Bernard & Benford walk in '26 though.

Hopefully the back to back concussions won't impact Benford for the long term, He's the more valuable commodity, tho with a shorter shelf life.  Bills need to rethink their LB's, ours are too slight when you look at teams like KC and PHL.  Also about evaluation and drafting, Philly has the #1 and #6 graded LB's in the league in Baun & Burks, both 3rd round draft choices, Baun in 2020, Burks in 2018.  Also wonder if coaching is part of the problem, Eagles and Chiefs both have acclaimed defensive masterminds in Fangio and Spagnuolo, don't think McD and his appointed DC Babich can claim that after this season, other than the stellar turnover performance.

I would say DE, CB, DT, and WR all about equally needed right now. I take the best available one every time we pick essentially. One position of those 4 is not so much more needed than the other that I'd pass up a greater talent just to fill a certain position.

Everyone saying WR: you watched our secondary get just absolutely abused game after game right?

Here goes. I do not see a viable rush DE, X WR or CB2 on this team. (I also think we need better CB depth - especially with Benford’s two concussions.) Those are my top 3. Safety need depends on Bishop. DT has Oliver and Jones as starters, but at least needs depth. Obviously you grab a 1 tech that can get to the QB if you have the chance. They are rare and there is almost no circumstance that you don’t grab such a player if you can. Hopefully Carter can at least be a back up who can spell Oliver and/or line up with him on obvious passing downs. I’m not enthusiastic about him though. Decent DT depth is not difficult to find though.

This really depends upon what they do scheme wise.

This idiotic everyone eats scheme doesn't entail any need for a big-time WR, not would any want to come here for a max 100 targets, for example.

OL played great all season generally speaking, just not two days ago.

Zone or man on D for example also.

Critics of our methodology want to see Allen unleashed in the paying game, not turned into a RB Game Manager, but they see it differently.

Needs depend upon the projected uses for them.

To name a few.

Yeah...talking personnel needs is ridiculous if the strategy/philosophy isn't addressed first.  Because most of what I observe is McBeane doubling-down after each off-season and we wind up right back here in late January.

All comes down to McCoach making a huge shift in strategy, which means putting their eggs into supporting Josh first and foremost.  I doubt it'll happen though.

The Bills need a difference maker at WR... someone that will require more attention from defenses, to open things up offensively.  Then I'd go either 1T DT or a big, speedy CB whichever is available.  We're set on oline.  I think we need to get more physical on defense.

Obviously we need better play along the DLine. But drafting and signing free agents have basically all disappointed. So give the premium assets to Josh: WR is the first need. Then DT and DE.

Sadly we can't seem to hit on pass catchers either.

The tragic thing is, over the course of the last 4 years our biggest needs has been addressed in the draft and FA/Trades.

DLine & CB

The only guys I’m for keeping is Ed, Taron and Benford out of those units. Even then they haven’t been absolutely great which is another problem in itself.

Problem is we haven’t tried much unlike DLine. Before we drafted Keon (the 8th WR off the board), the Bills and Bucs were the only teams in the NFL that hadn’t drafted a WR in the first three rounds of the draft since 2017.

Biggest gain would be a bonafide baller at outside wr.

We need a pass rush power on the DL, de or dt sill do, most likely de since they tend to be the best rushers.

We need CB, Douglas will be gone and a real stud beside benford could be a huge impact.

If I'm allocating resources, I go big on WR, CB, and DE and fill the rest of the gaps w youth and talent and who we got already.

We can't do more of this expanded middle class thing where we spend money on Curtis Samuel and a high picks on Coleman and Kincaid and what we spend on DL rotation depth to have them sit so much.  We need to add a couple real stars.

WR is a must. Someone who commands a double team. Can get open.

Back end needs huge upgrades. Hamlin and Elam should never be starting against elite level QB's.

Pass rusher. Not getting enough pressure allowed teams to pick on that sorry secondary.

Kicker tryouts. ST's is critical in the postseason.
