oldmanfan Posted Tuesday at 02:00 PM Posted Tuesday at 02:00 PM Going forward these are two guys that are going to have to make significant contributions. We need younger guys, former draft picks to assume significant roles on this team. 1 Quote

Good thing we got him and not worthy. It's not like we threw much to any WR. We currently a run first, run often offense. 1 Quote

Some of that was out of necessity. They just don't have the talent at WR for the passing game to be the focal point. Brady did an excellent job most of the season masking their weakness at the position. 1 Quote

But he mostly has looked pretty bad. He was the one head-scratcher pick for me last draft, he’s old and maybe at his ceiling - I don’t have high hopes for him but he does have a high football character so who knows. Quote

Oh we should all fear the Josh Allen picks, Kincaid was straight dominant too. Maybe the GM should do his own damn job and draft the best talent, not appease the QB. This is how you end up in the mess the Packers/Jets did. 1 1 Quote
Jerome007 Posted Tuesday at 02:38 PM Posted Tuesday at 02:38 PM Kromer is rightfully praised for the OLine play and getting the most out of his players. But the DLine coach? What does he do exactly? 1 Quote

Josh wanting to keep his QB coach for continuity isn’t a bad thing. Case and point Bob Slowik in Houston Quote

It’s Very concerning It just seems like Carter is going to be another rotational DL who comes in and doesn’t do very much. Solomon has the potential to be a good situational edge rusher but he is horrible against the run Quote

Coleman could not do that in college, and he most definitely cannot do that in the NFL. I like the trade back, I strongly dislike the selection. There were many WR I preferred over Coleman. Hes a one trick pony, that does not do that trick well. Coleman is the 6th wideout IMO next season I think he can take over and enhance the role Hollins had. Coleman in Bradys scheme could be Marquis Colston or Michael Thomas as a power slot. As a rookie he started slow got going then got hurt. The middle he showed flashes of being an impact player. He is an X in pro sets. In spread looks I think he works best as a slot. I would draft another pass catcher early or sign one if Cooper doesn't return. Quote

Mack was one of the most important Bills imo. He does all the little things great. I often see Mack blocking down field to spring his fellow WR. Hes great at setting a pick, he catches everything. He can release. He shows up for Big Games. Coleman can block, and he can jump. That’s all I see. Coleman would rather play paddycakes with DB, then high point ball. He wastes so much motion and looks terribly awkward trying to release from a jam. imo it is crucial we re-sign Hollins. sure Coleman would be better in the slot. But our best WR plays in slot. Coleman was drafted to play outside, and he is failing bad. Hopefully he works hard offseason and comes back a better WR Edited Tuesday at 03:07 PM by Pete 1 1 Quote

I think he can easily lead the team in many categories in year 2. Hollins is a very good teammate but he isn't a must sign. For the right money yes. As a role player absolutely. 1 Quote

As a role player absolutely. Hollins played 30% of his snaps in the slot. He led the Bills WR in TDs in regular season and the playoffs. Coleman was 4 for 10 in red zone targets, but leads NFL in paddycakes https://www.playerprofiler.com/nfl/mack-hollins/ Coleman and Elam are both grabby. Coleman seems to me more worried about drawing a penalty, instead of focusing on finishing route and catching the football. He is often tangled up when Josh targets him. Josh targeted him against KC in a huge spot. 4 for 11 in the red zone. Hopefully this offseason Josh and Coleman dial it in. Coleman wants to be good, and I think he will train and study intensely. If Coleman can figure it out, he could be a TD monster Edited Tuesday at 03:46 PM by Pete 1 Quote
