Pete Posted Tuesday at 11:09 AM Posted Tuesday at 11:09 AM Both looked great in preseason, early season, and then it seemed regressed. Carter looked like solid part of DL rotation, then got hurt. After he returned, he was inactive. Why? Solomon looked like a find earlier. But played awful in games late in season. Have you seen flashes from either/or that makes you hopeful for our DLine going forward? Do both make 2025 Bills roster? Quote

On Solomon the only two games he got serious play in down the stretch were the Jets where he wasn't great admittedly and the Patriots where he was the best Bill on the field and had seven Quarterback pressures. I still have a lot of hope for him. Carter I don't know. I was never that enamoured with his play early in the year to be honest and the Bills chose to have Phillips and Jefferson up over him later. I didn't love the pick and remain concerned. 1 Quote

Poor management all around. 2 1 3 Quote
dorquemada Posted Tuesday at 12:37 PM Posted Tuesday at 12:37 PM Beane loves him some underperfroming DL in the middle rounds. High motor though! 5 4 1 Quote

4th&long Posted Tuesday at 12:53 PM Posted Tuesday at 12:53 PM What about Coleman? He was useless the last 6-8 weeks or so. He had 3 catches maybe in the playoffs. Good thing we got him and not worthy. 4 1 1 Quote

Good thing we got him and not worthy. I didn't like Coleman when we drafted him, because we needed a WR who could line up outside, and separate. Coleman could not do that in college, and he most definitely cannot do that in the NFL. I like the trade back, I strongly dislike the selection. There were many WR I preferred over Coleman. Hes a one trick pony, that does not do that trick well. Coleman is the 6th wideout IMO next season 2 Quote

freddyjj Posted Tuesday at 01:09 PM Posted Tuesday at 01:09 PM Carter had lingering issues with his wrist and regularly appeared on late season injury reports. He had wrist surgery late OCT and struggled upon his return. https://www.si.com/nfl/bills/news/buffalo-bills-dewayne-carter-wrist-injury 2 Quote

It would have helped to have someone who could get seperation. Speed kills. Nothing about Coleman a D needs to respect evidence by his production down the stretch and playoffs. But he has a nice yellow jacket. 1 5 Quote

Their skill sets are polar opposites. I don't know if Worthy would have been successful on this team, but his usage would absolutely have looked different. The Bills needed separation and downfield speed to keep defenses honest much more than a guy that can catch a few jump balls over the course of a season. They still do. Maybe Coleman will break out next year, but I'm definitely concerned after the way he played after the injury. That being said, I was 100% sold on McConkey with that pick rather than Worthy, though I did like the latter as well. 1 Quote
quincy Posted Tuesday at 01:24 PM Posted Tuesday at 01:24 PM I trust Solomon will get more opportunities next year, can he be an impact player when called upon? Without improvement to the DL as a whole next year we will be stuck in the same cycle, treading water. 2 Quote

HOUSE Posted Tuesday at 01:31 PM Posted Tuesday at 01:31 PM You guys that are bashing Coleman will be real sorry later. This is Josh Allen's draft pick. He needs an off season in the gym. Also heal up from some nagging injuries. If you bet against this guy, you will lose... 2 2 1 1 1 Quote

Now we know he was injured. How do you feel about his performance? 2 1 Quote

Unfortunately, I'm having a very hard time finding anything positive in those last eight games. 1 Quote
