He had a terrible year in New Orleans under this front office

Yep. It was at the time (and I think still) the worst defense in NFL history. They allowed over 7,000 yards in a 16 game season. To put that in context it was like 200 yards worse than Carolina (the 32nd defense in the NFL this year) gave up in a 17 game season.

Haha Wonder if Joe Brady is having second thoughts

I for one hope so !! If you put in all of the cap problems that Payton & their GM left them in why would anyone want that mess ?

I know a guy who would be a perfect fit to right that ship.

I would rather that he stays so when the Bills do beat them there are no excuses what so ever that they couldn't do it when he was there . There may be some of that if players leave but they have and they are still good but Spags is the best and as Josh has said, "In order to be the best you have to beat the best" !

So stick around 1 more year Spags or until your new contract extension is a couple years in .

Respectfully, screw that. We could have taken down Jarrett Stidham, Josh Johnson, and Carson Wentz on our way to the Super Bowl and id be thrilled

It's open for now. I'm betting this is the guy. If he pulls out probably McCarthy. If both say no thanks. Maybe they pull up a Brinks truck to try and convince Brady to change his mind

I felt like Moore was going to end up in Dallas, he could up as Saints guy too but both jobs are ones id pass on.

Pry not.  Ben Johnson didn't win the conference championship last year and stayed with the Lions.  It paid off for him this year with getting the best coaching job available and $14m a year.

Why would he? Saints don't have anything close to a franchise QB nor in position to draft one. I hope Spags goes and he takes some free agents with him.

I love how you referred to him as Spags as if you're good buddies. What other kind of fun things can happen today?

If Ben Johnson is every thing he's hyped to be he very well could've led the Commanders to the Super Bowl assuming they take Jaden Daniels if he took the job.

HAHAHAHA

Honestly, the fact Pete Carroll, who is 73, got a job before McCarthy is pretty surprising. McCarthy is a good coach and a franchise wanted a stable presence, McCarthy would be a good choice

10 years ago, we would kill to hire a guy like McCarthy

Maybe KC can add Max Crosby or Myles Garrett too. That’ll make it even sweeter!

I agree with you but these jobs don’t come along that often. One day you’re a head coaching candidate, next one you’re unemployed.

I think that was a timing thing. I also believe that McCarthy gets hate because of how he looks. I would be furious if I was cowboys fan (for a lot of reasons) if we fired MM and hired the ultimate nepo baby.

I was thinking the Bills could add them so we can really kick their ass and that would be even sweeter .
