Big Ben won two super bowls... Joe flacco won 1... Peyton Manning went to two super bowls

One player can't go to all of them

I know what you're saying but I truly believe that KC is an even bigger monster than the Pats when it's all said and done. There is nothing that makes it look like KC will lose its grip anytime soon. Imagine worthy progressing and you know they'll get quality WRs very soon. Plus their coaches play chess when we all play candy land.

Stop please.  This is delusional.  As long as Mahomes remains in the AFC with Reid, the Bills are not getting to 3 superbowls

u never know...Reid could have a heart attack tomorrow...

This was certainly a long 24 hours for most and this will be my last thread for a while

At the end of the day only 1 team is crowned champion and 31 are bitter... But the bills were considered by football pundits to be rebuilding and weaker

They turned that into fuel with a great season and the emergence of Josh Allen being able to take care of the football

Something lots doubted if it could ever happen... The future is bright, Josh is not going anywhere.. and he has years of great football ahead of him

I always said Josh be completely ready around 30... He had so much to learn.. and his fire and competitiveness will never go away

The Buffalo Bills didn't get it done this year... But history says you can't keep a player like him down , and the people on this team care too much about each other to never get over the hump

Michael Jordan couldn't shake Larry Bird.. it took years for Steve Young to get the monkey off his back

I still billieve, I never will stop billieving and thank you for the memories this season

Let's go Buffalo

Nobody circles the wagons like the Buffalo Bills

This sounds like the last step of grieving. Semi kidding, semi not.

I'm mad, but appreciate this post and this team. Hurt me my whole life but I legit love my team unconditionally. This is really hard.

Trying not to use hyperbole, but keep it real. It feels like a mini death. It's so sudden, and then it's just gone. Not the death of a loved one, I don't want to cheapen that.

But--

Anybody who's ever had a falling out with a friend, and its a permanent unfixable thing. It feels like the death of a friendship. I think it's pretty spot on, at least for me. Similar sting.

Take care yall. Despite the negativity, in my heart I know we'll win one.

Preach

I dont even understand these people, its like they enjoy the self flagellation.

We win and we are the greatest team in the history of football, we lose and everyone from the head coach to the water boy should be fired. Some fans are just insane. Ya, lets fire the first coach that has gotten us to the AFC championship since Marv Levy in 1994, we all know Albert Pilarski from Cheecktowaga can make better personnel decisions then the staff at one bills drive. Fire the GM that got us Josh Allen. Call them childish names like Mcbean. Mention the drought over and over again like that happened last week. Say stupid ***** Like "Billsy" like every team in the NFL doesn't have a meltdown every now and then. Then mention someone we didn't get in the draft, like half the teams in the NFL didn't pass on the same person.

I am waiting for the thread on "wide right" or "no goal". I know its coming because this is Buffalo and thats what we do.

Its only us, we are snake bit, cursed, and voodoo dolls with all our names on them are for sale in every city in the country. We are all bad Catholics when the Bills lose, going to confession every Sunday after a Bills loss and begging for forgiveness for sins we shouldn't have committed but did anyway because... well thats just who we are.

This is the thing.

Buffalo, New York is the 81st most populated city in the United States. The Buffalo-Niagara Falls metropolitan area is the 49th largest metropolitan area in the United States. There are only 32 NFL teams, and against all odds, we have one. Four teams in the NFL have never even been to a Superbowl. Twelve have never won one. We aren't special, there is no evil genie, and God doesn't hate us. If anything with the size of our market we are lucky to even have an NFL team to B word about.

We lost our star wide receiver, star safety's and were in cap hell at the start of the season, and yet we went to the AFC championship and compiled a record that would have made anyone a tidy sum if they would have bet on it before the season started. The over on 10 wins was great odds and your a sucker if you would have taken them, right?

Twenty eight other teams didn't make it as far as us. We are the 12%. Head and shoulders above the rest. Twenty eight of the Thirty other teams cant say that.

I hate that we lost. I hate the call where Allen obviously got the first down but the ref on the side where Allen wasn't said no. I hate that Kincaid dropped a pass my old ass could have caught, but ***** happens. Its sports. Lets put on our big boy pants and enjoy the ride.

There are some people for whom the glass is always half empty. I am not one of them. I understand that it was a miracle that we even got as far as we did this season with the constraints we had. This was a special season in a lot of ways. A team that most pundits didn't even think would make the playoffs made it to the AFC championship. It was a good ride and my cup is half full not half empty.

Me? I am with these guys.

The margin between the Bills and the Chiefs (and Bills and the Ravens, for that matter) is razor thin.  I'm as sad, depressed, upset, angry, etc. as the next guy that the Bills lost, but having some perspective is good.  This year's team was not the best roster the Bills have had, and most predicted a major drop in the standings.  Instead, the Bills won their division, won 2 playoff games against good teams, and played a tough game against the Chiefs in the AFCCG, falling by a field goal.  One play - a proper spotting of the ball by the officials, a catch by a usually sure-handed tight end, or a top-flight CB not going out concussed in the first quarter - might have made the difference.  Maybe the Chiefs are a little bit better - better coaching, better QB (in clutch time), better defense, etc., but the Bills are not being badly outcoached, out played, etc.  These games are extremely close and the difference between these two teams is not great.  Some argue that it's insanity doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result, but the Bills don't need a lot to get over the hump.  One player acquisition, lucky bounce, correct call by the refs, etc. and the Bills are there.  I think it will happen sometime in the next 3 years, but we'll see.

I've lived outside of Buffalo for the past 35 years and have always lived in a NFL market.  None of the places I have lived in all these years have had a team as good as the Bills have been in the last 4 years.  (Obviously, I have not lived in New England, KC, or Philadelphia....)  The people where I live like the Bills and envy their success.  They wish they had Josh Allen.  They'd even take Sean McDermott in a heartbeat.  The Bills have a little bit more room to grow and need to do so to get over the hump, but don't lose perspective.  What we Bills fans have right now is pretty damn good.

By any rational definition the Bills greatly exceeded preseason expectations.  And for that I join with others in saying thank you.

I believe that the Bills have reopened their Super Bowl window this season even as they worked through a significant player changing of the guard and the accompanying CAP issues.  Or to be more precise that window never closed and remains wide open.

It is reasonable to assume that this team will be better next year.  And with 9 home games and a schedule that seems to have the toughest competition playing in Buffalo the Bills are in a great position to nail down the #1 seed.

Finally, there are a number of young players who are on the rise while Allen is entering his prime years.  And if Nick Sirianni, Bruce Arians & Zack Taylor can get to Super Bowls then so can McD.

Great post. One of my favorite sayings is the journey is better than the destination. This season was a helluva of a ride and I’m sad we don’t have one more game to get excited for. My strongest tailgate season and so many happy memories. I told my lady that I will propose when the Bills make the SB. Your move Bills!

That’s why I can’t fully get that upset. They were kinda garbage last year and went on the road to win the SB. People called them frauds this year and they have only lost to us.

hopefully, we finally get a monster pass rusher and wr. Those are the major pieces missing.

Certainly I am very disapointed in not being able to watch the Bills take on Philadelphia in the Super Bowl. That being said, I am very pleased that this season was as successful as it was. Back in August the best I was hoping for was that we make my season by sweeping  the Dolphins and squeeze into the playoffs via a wild card. Never thought we would go undefeated at home and win the Division with a couple weeks to spare. I want to thank the coaches and players for a fun filled season that I didn't expect. GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I already told you I don't think about you I have 10,000 receipts on this website that I don't come back to people because I actually am employed in football

I come here to talk the bills not argue with people who have negative opinions

FYI you said the bills needed 40 to win and we could have won with 32

I said the chiefs could score 27 to 31 throughout the postseason at home since the last few weeks of the season... I said they weren't scoring 39.. and they still needed the refs help on incomplete pass to Worthy

And I was talking Peyton Manning with the colts before he went to Denver

I recommend the ignore feature
