Buffalo716 Posted January 28 Posted January 28 This was certainly a long 24 hours for most and this will be my last thread for a while At the end of the day only 1 team is crowned champion and 31 are bitter... But the bills were considered by football pundits to be rebuilding and weaker They turned that into fuel with a great season and the emergence of Josh Allen being able to take care of the football Something lots doubted if it could ever happen... The future is bright, Josh is not going anywhere.. and he has years of great football ahead of him I always said Josh be completely ready around 30... He had so much to learn.. and his fire and competitiveness will never go away The Buffalo Bills didn't get it done this year... But history says you can't keep a player like him down , and the people on this team care too much about each other to never get over the hump Michael Jordan couldn't shake Larry Bird.. it took years for Steve Young to get the monkey off his back I still billieve, I never will stop billieving and thank you for the memories this season Let's go Buffalo Nobody circles the wagons like the Buffalo Bills 11 1 1 13 6 Quote
TheBrownBear Posted January 28 Posted January 28 I was about to post a similar thread, so thanks for this. We all must be hitting the acceptance stage at the same time. 😀 I'm proud of these guys. My expectations were pretty low entering the season. Not the most talented roster, but seemed to have good chemistry, with everyone putting team first and pulling together in the same direction. And from what we know, they are all good people, hard workers and want nothing more than to deliver a championship for each other and for the fans and people of Buffalo. I really hope Sean, Brandon, Josh and the rest of the core crew are the group that finally bring it home for us. 2 2 Quote

steven50 Posted January 28 Posted January 28 Like you I saw at the beginning of this season with the loss of Diggs and our secondary pundits were predicting us to finish 2nd or 3rd in the AFC east behind Miami and/or Jets. ESPN: 7 -10 playoff less season for the Bills https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/41034817/simulating-2024-nfl-season-predictions-playoffs-super-bowl-champion CBS sports: Bills Finish third behind jets and fins Bills: 9-8 https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/2024-nfl-predictions-final-record-for-all-32-teams-super-bowl-lix-pick-playoff-matchups-and-mvp-winner/ Sports illustrated projects Jets to win AFC east: https://www.si.com/nfl/nfl-predictions-2024-season-super-bowl-mvp-awards "They just dont have the dogs" Instead clinched the division earlier then ever before, made it to the AFC championship game despite having half our defense out for long stretches of the season and a no name lineup of wide receivers and we were 1 dropped pass away from making it to the show. I am not happy with the way things ended either but all the, "blow it all up!" "Fire everyone!" people need to just stop. 1 9 Quote

PS, see what I meant about the Chiefs scoring a ton even though they hadn’t all year? I already told you I don't think about you I have 10,000 receipts on this website that I don't come back to people because I actually am employed in football I come here to talk the bills not argue with people who have negative opinions FYI you said the bills needed 40 to win and we could have won with 32 I said the chiefs could score 27 to 31 throughout the postseason at home since the last few weeks of the season... I said they weren't scoring 39.. and they still needed the refs help on incomplete pass to Worthy And I was talking Peyton Manning with the colts before he went to Denver Edited January 28 by Buffalo716 2 Quote

Yes the Chiefs are great team Of course I can I did not think it was going to be easy I thought it would be a dog fight through and through I envisioned Josh Allen going down and leading a game-winning drive before the game.. it sucks that I saw the drive but not the outcome But football dynasties cannot last forever including the Chiefs 1 Quote
