OK, so if that's the case, you can't blame the team. That would be on the player and if the INC is that easy to fool, they need better tests. I don't think it's as simple as the player telling them they're fine. They have very specific testing they do that would be hard to fake if you're still legitimately concussed. 1 1 Quote

boyst Posted Monday at 11:37 PM Posted Monday at 11:37 PM The player can make his own decision. What the hell is wrong with people feeling entitled to make decisions for someone else? We must treat him like a baby. 1 Quote
4th&long Posted Tuesday at 12:01 AM Posted Tuesday at 12:01 AM Good lord after all this time you people still think a team is control of concussion protocol? The League is in charge. But I think even the League is full of crap. I've had 2 friends suffer concussions and it takes months to heal up from. Quote

The league doesn't care I lost my college football career due to concussions and before my seventh one I was able to come back by lifting some weights and following some laser pointers The league wants the facade of looking like they care 2 Quote

EasternOHBillsFan Posted Tuesday at 12:58 AM Posted Tuesday at 12:58 AM Aaron Williams never had justice for his career ending injury at the hands of Jarvis Landry ($25,000 what a joke), so yeah, the NFL can shove it. 1 Quote

Love it when someone throws out 'entitled'. When the team and league are not responsible for the health of a player, then I think you'll get your wish. But as long as their is liability on the part of the NFL, they'll make sure that they try to avoid unnecessary brain damage to their employees. Probably not good strategy to have a concussed person playing anyway, but I guess the team feels entitled to field a team giving them the best chance to win. Quote

That Friday DNP designation for “personal reasons” looks fish as hell if it was just a way to circumvent a third consecutive DNP for “concussion.” It's not the Bills, it's an independent 3rd party that clears players I believe. Ralonzo Posted Tuesday at 01:09 AM Posted Tuesday at 01:09 AM I'm pretty sure a concussed person would do a better job of investigating the NFL than vice versa. Quote

The team physician first clears the player for full participation in practice, then the independent neurological consultant must clear the player to return to play in games. Quote

Let's let a person who has a BRAIN INJURY make critical decisions about his health and well being in a world filled with pressure to play from himself and others. 1 Quote
