right? I don't get the love affair with this guy? he looks like hes 15 years old, both in stature and appearence. Not exactly fear inducing.

Maybe be will improve after he starts shaving ?

I think the love affair has something to do with most people being in a hurry to move on from Damar as soon as possible  …

Bishop has a long way to go … but I’ll keep optimistic about him into Year 2…

Sanders is NOT who the Bills or fans would be coveting for DL, yet another sub-300 twitchy guy best suited for 3T, only really makes sense if you move on from Oliver and roll with Carter and Sanders in rotation I think.

Oh no more of those please besides Oliver!

Have posted here a few that I would like Two one techs on the team  lol

A younger D Jones and one who can play actual nose. Just sit down , immovable .

I think the injury caused by Poyer on Coleman really set him back.  He was playing really well before he got sidelined.  I just think his growth and involvement in the offense was stifled.

Next year is a big year, he has to show up. But if Brady doesn’t improve play design, it may not matter.

Sometimes I can’t tell when people are kidding.

You’re worried about Pro Bowl picks? What a joke!  We are playing football games, not collecting merit badges. We barely lost by 3 points to the two-time defending champions in their place in the AFCCG. We do not suck.

Expand

Lack of pro bowl picks are symptomatic of poor drafting and free agent pick up. Not that hard to understand.

He overthinks the first round picks.  Last year was a great example.  There was overwhelming broad consensus that Ladd McConkey had elite route running skills that reliably gets open.  Every draft profile says the same thing.  Just make the pick.

For 2025, I'd like for him to get some gigantic, mean defensive tackles and some athletic corners that understand man and zone defense.  I'd love for the defense in 2025 to flow through the Defensive Tackle position.

Are you hitting on me ?  LOL !
Agreed on first point. During the draft I was waiting on the pick and thinking we could trade up in Rd two for out second WR ha

And Beane went backwards for a pick most of us questioned at a position of need

Yes YES TWO Gigantic angry DTs to manage the center and two guards when called upon. switch up the scheme finally Sean

Elams done i hope. And Douglas is long in the tooth. so yes to CB or two

I considered that.

But Bills cant afford to draft players that take years to develop early rounds.

Not sure who to blame here McD Staff of Beane's

Elam comes to mind too quickly.

That’s my biggest concern, even if we draft a guy on the Dline , he probably want be much help next year, I’m really on the side of trading for Myles Garrett or max , I just want a Super Bowl, take the rams approach ,

I respect your enthusiasm. They’ve failed to do it going into year 8 of their regime pairing. I’m not holding my breath they fix that DLine in one off-season let alone two.

Hopefully they prove doubters wrong but the history of their efforts says otherwise.

Perhaps Babich has some input for Change.

Hell , play 3-4 at this point !

 Shake it up McD

We lost by 3 in the AFCCG against the 2 time defending Chiefs in their stadium. Yes, we must suck.

There are enough rookies who can come in on Dline and make plays first season. If you pick the correct guess !
Not trying to be negative , but I think the roster needs some more adjustments via player upgrades than just Garrett at this point. recall we thought Von was going to make it happen when he first came on as a Bill ?

No, it was just such a poor take I wasn’t sure if it was real.

If we suck, why don’t we suck?

I agree, they never will. How many resources have we poured into DL before?

Free agent contracts:

Miller-Massively overpaid bust

Star-overpaid bust

Murphy-Did nothing

Butler-Did nothing

Jefferson-Meh

Mario Addison-Did nothing

Tim Settle-Did nothing

Daquan Jones-Good signing

High draft picks

Oliver-Solid

Harrison Phillips-Decent

Rousseau-Decent but about to be overpaid for no reason

Epenesa-Meh

Carter-Healthy Scratch

Basham-Bust

At what point do we look in the mirror and say this is not working?

I wouldn’t be opposed to that move as it may be more favorable for Groot and AJ. Need to get some better pieces on the middle though. Ed would fit the 3-4 end role but I don’t think he’s suited to absolute gap control required for that scheme.

Additionally our undersized LBs got better in that base by practical standards.

Far too many. For the lack of injuries we’ve had at the position it’s very alarming that there’s a steady cycle of defensive lineman churned in and out for the season. I get they’re in a rotational role and want it to be a group effort to be fresh but sometimes enough is enough.

The list you out together is littered from top to bottom of guys who flash it just enough to want to be kept around. Not saying they’re absolute bums but there’s only one on there who’s worth losing sleep over if they aren’t let around, Ed.

If you remove the fandom and look at it from an unbiased or impartial perspective, I don’t know how you can view the rest as championship caliber players.

Pretty sad for what’s been invested.

The good news is we have lots of draft picks, and this draft class strength is DT and edge.  I read that possibly 18 out of top 50 picks will be DLine.  The draft is deep at S too
