The whole point is that the team should have been better prepared to take the best course of action which would have been to slide protection to the right. Torrence isn't helping their case with his assessment. It's understandable why they did it, but it wasn't correct. A Hall of Fame, former league MVP and Superbowl winning QB is explaining why it was the wrong call. And in the end, Kincaid dropped a ball an NFL receiver should've had. Quote

Did Spencer Brown mess up? If they slid left like Allen says then Brown blocked the wrong rusher. does Warner have any interest in coaching. I like all his breakdowns. He could be a benefit as a qb coach perhaps? Quote

As some that loves to talk X and O’s, this is driving me insane today. Kincaid dropping the ball and it being an incomplete pass cost of us game unless you want to also let the D share the blame since they couldn't prevent a first down that allowed KC to kill the clock. 1 minute ago, Chicken Boo said: That's another discussion. Dang right he should've and there's been other video angles of it posted here that show just how open he was and how terrible of an adjustment he made to it. Next season is make or break for that guy. Totally underachieved this season. Quote

Kincaid dropped the ball. Think about how crazy that sounds. I have to listen to his post game comments. He’s basically saying they ignored the pressure front because they didn’t actually blitz all game. That is just one of the wildest explanations I’ve ever heard. Any good play caller is setting up their next move. Spags is the best. Plus he is known to send these blitzes in these moments. I’m just getting more frustrated. Quote

I mean the drive did end when that ball hit the ground rather than him catching it so, I think my frustrations are mainly in the right place. I couldn't care less if Josh called the wrong protection and threw the ball while standing on his head. Kincaid dropped the ball, which is an incomplete pass that created a turnover on downs. THAT is what essentially ended the game minus the D giving up the first down. Edited Tuesday at 01:48 AM by Billz4ever Quote

You have to have counters knowing that they ar going to stop what you've been doing all year. The lack of in game adjustments was frustrating. This 100%. When you are playing the best of the best, you have to be prepared for them stopping your core offensive plays. You have to bring something different that the opponent hasn’t seen on film study. KC does this all the time. They have creative offensive and defensive coordinators which is why they are the best and then they run those plays at critical moments of the game. McDermott’s philosophy always seems to be that “this is what we do and are great at, so try to stop us”. And then a real good/great team is prepared and stops it. There never seems to be anything new unleashed in the playoffs. 1 Quote
Thrivefourfive Posted Tuesday at 01:55 AM Posted Tuesday at 01:55 AM Yeah it’s chess not checkers. Everything Bills is checkers compared to the Chiefs chess. Spags didn’t do it all game so what?? We ignored it come possibly happening at all on 4th&5. Over being the dumb team. Quote

That's what Josh did there on 4th down and I've honestly never seen so many people wanting to blame a QB for a receiver dropping a very catchable ball. Quote

But that doesn't mean how he plays is the most conducive to winning a Super Bowl. He's a sandlot guy. A reason exists why Favre got 3x MVP's to rings. What he did was incredible, but biggest moments favor precision not superman. Quote

A QB with a lightning quick release, accuracy, and ability to read defenses will always beat a physical marvel with elite everything else. The game has been that way for it's entire existence. Allen is responsible for more wins than any QB in the NFL, but is his style of play optimal for a Super Bowl? No and history says as much. Edited Tuesday at 02:38 AM by Mikie2times Quote

Sorry, but the QB going for the first ever 3 peat in NFL history is more like Josh Allen than Tom Brady. When a play breaks down, he moves around, gets out of the pocket and will take off if that's the best option. Hate to tell you, but literally all the QBs that played in the two conference championship games are more like Josh Allen than Tom Brady and the QB who will win the Super Bowl this year, whether it's Mahomes or Hurts, is more like Allen than Brady. MikePJ76 Posted Tuesday at 02:51 AM Posted Tuesday at 02:51 AM the nitpicking over this one play is maddening. All these analysts and former players no exactly what they are implying by harping on this one play. Kincaid catches it you never hear a thing from these people about the protection. It would just be a miraculous throw and catch that set up the Bills to win. 1 Quote
