You don’t think he would give that all up for a chance at a Super Bowl

No.. because nothing's guaranteeing a super bowl with the Rams or 49rs lol

We've literally been on the cusp.. 28 teams were not in our position

A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.. we're right there and our cap is only going to be getting better the next 2-3 years

He cares about his image and he will become public enemy number One if he ever left.. something Josh with his character won't do .. it's one thing if he won a SB and went to California at 40 at the tail end to retire... Completely different than leaving at 31 in his prime without delivering his adopted hometown a title

I think Buffalo will look at Allen the way Detroit looks at Stafford. He gave his all while he was here, our team is ***** and wish him the best on his next stop.

Our last 3 top picks are all busts, as ordinary as our WR corp is it was still an upgrade over Gabe Davis being a #2, defense isn’t stopping anyone

You can't even compare the fan bases or the cities or how they love football lol

I've been to Detroit plenty of times and the players are not treated as celebrities.. Matthew Stafford was not the king of Detroit

They don't embrace football like that.. even now when they're winning they're trying to be a passionate fan base but it's not Buffalo

Josh Allen is literally the king of Buffalo.. we put statues of him on the street signs.. he eats free... he gets mobbed by men women and children everywhere he goes

He knows he is the idol too 100,000 boys in Western New York

We bring back players as Legends of the game because players embrace us 5 10 15 20 years later .. because there's no NFL City like Buffalo

Josh Allen would never be a legend of the game.. Josh Allen would never be on the wall of fame.. they would take his grandmother's name off oshei children hospital wing.. his legacy would be erased from Buffalo

Josh has a legacy he can kill if he hurts the hearts of Buffalo... Something he knows , which is why he embraced the city full stop

It's not like leaving Cincinnati or Detroit.. you can go from most loved to most hated and Josh cares too much

I am not comparing fanbases. While it's true that Buffalo has the best fans, I believe Josh would trade that for a shot at a championship. The current structure and philosophy of this team are unlikely to lead them to a Super Bowl without significant changes. Sure, people in Buffalo love him, but winning a Super Bowl would earn him global recognition.

You think he gives a ***** about being a “Legend of the Game” over a Super Bowl?

Well you're calling Josh a liar

Josh said coming out of college he wants to play for one franchise his entire career

Ever since he got here he said his goal is to retire a Buffalo Bill

So yes.. Josh is not going to torch his legacy in Buffalo for a maybe super bowl lol

Nothing says the Rams or niners are going to be good for the next 3 or 5 years

We have just as much as a shot... So yes destroying a legacy he built for a maybe is pretty dumb

I'm pretty sure he could also have a maybe super bowl here.. John elway didn't win till he was at the end

What is he suppose to say? He knows how to talk to reports and say the right things. Its not a guarantee he makes a Super Bowl but you can’t keep doing the same thing over & over and expect different results. Elway had made a Super Bowl at this point in his career.

He doesn't have to be cordial he's a professional athlete

He didn't have to sign that 300 million contract if he didn't want to be here.. he didn't have to take pay cuts if he didn't want to be here

He could go to the front office and demand a trade..

He doesn't have to be cordial.. Josh is who he is.. and I believe what he says

This is a negative topic I don’t even like thinking about, but I don’t believe there’s zero chance Josh would ever leave. The possibility is always there. Sometimes ones personal goals supersede worries about what others think. He wouldn’t necessarily be “a liar” because things change in life. No one gets married talking about the divorce, but situations can change. I don’t think he’s going anywhere. That only happens if his relationship with McD is secretly bad.

Leaving Buffalo is different than leaving any NFL City

It's one thing if he was Jay Cutler... A talented guy who didn't care

That's not Josh Allen... People are also crazy if they don't think he thinks about his legacy in Buffalo because he's talked about dreaming about the parade for years

Again .. Tom Brady wasn't even king of Massachusetts like Tom is the king of Buffalo... You can't compare how Buffalo treats it's professional athletes

We treat them like family and show them love... In good and bad

And that does not get forgotten on them... It's one thing if it was WWE and they said hey we're going to move you from smackdown to raw and you're going to win the world title

Football doesn't work like that and he has just as much as a shot winning here as he does in Los Angeles

This was a crucial year for the bills. We fell up short. How much left do we got left before it all fades? Allen is going to be 29 next year, how many more hits can he take before his most crucial part of his game (his legs) is useless? Imo next year it’s book or absolute bust. Allen is in the later part of his career. This is it next year

Till Allen leaves.

This year was a transition year when we shouldn't have been as good as we were.

If we can get this far this year, we can do it every year Allen plays to his standard.

That's not to say that we can get past the Chiefs. Jesus, that stung. And we didn't deserve to win.

Your last sentence, if not trolling, is dumb.

How many hits did he take this year?

This was Year 1 of a new run.  New Coordinators, new philosophy on offense and a more laid back head coach.

A great draft and a few moves in free agency and this team will be right back in the playoffs if health allows next year.  The most important parts of the team are in their prime.

Allens new t-shirt says...I wish I was older.   😀

really the question is...when will the coaching staff (and beane) get smarter?

Brah... Big Ben led the league in passing yards in his age 36 season and he was notorious for taking atrocious care of himself in the offseason.

If Big Ben is the measure, at least 7 more seasons of "window open" with Josh.

how many Super Bowl appearances in those 7 yrs? rough estimate

i have the o/u at .5 and the under is -115

I still firmly believe Allen will get his Lombardi.

I used to believe it would be more than 1, but now I just think it's possible.

I've noticed you've become a bit of a Negative Nancy lately. I get it. I just really think we need to look at what our expectations were going into this season.

Also, Josh and Keon need to have multiple weekend getaways at bed and breakfasts in the offseason. That connection devolved into something truly ugly in the back half of the season.
