iwishitwerecolder Posted January 27 Posted January 27 This was a crucial year for the bills. We fell up short. How much left do we got left before it all fades? Allen is going to be 29 next year, how many more hits can he take before his most crucial part of his game (his legs) is useless? Imo next year it’s book or absolute bust. Allen is in the later part of his career. This is it next year 1 5 2 1 3 Quote

Yet the defense has to improve no doubt. 5 2 Quote
SCBills Posted January 27 Posted January 27 It's up to Beane to hit this off-season with picks & some money in order to open the second window. We didn't break through in the first one with Hyde, Poyer, White, Diggs etc.. This was the "reset year". Next year begins the second 5-6 year window for Josh Allen. 7 2 Quote
Ethan in Cleveland Posted January 27 Posted January 27 It's a good question that cant really be answered. If Allen is like Cam Newton then his run is close to over. If he evolves like Elway and Roethlisberger did, then we have another 8-10 years of HOF play. 7 1 Quote
Gregg Posted January 27 Posted January 27 He probably has 3 or 4 years left playing the way he does. Even if his ability to run declines that doesn't mean it's the end. Think of Elway. For most of his career he would run and scramble when he had to. Not at the level that Allen does but it was different game back then. But Elway won 2 Super Bowls towards the end of his career when he wasn't really running or scrambling at all. He didn't have to as he had Davis to run the ball. Quote
Buffalo_Stampede Posted January 27 Posted January 27 (edited) I think they were actually planning to be better next year. Then they were like we might be good enough now and traded for Cooper. Look for major moves out of Buffalo this offseason. Edited January 27 by Buffalo_Stampede Quote
8BallSippin Posted January 27 Posted January 27 I don't think many of us expected that we'd win the East. Frankly, I was shocked we beat Baltimore. Had Kincaid not been "broken I guess" and made that catch, we might be in the show. I fully expect this team to be better next season. Again, I still think McDermott is holding this team back in the end, but he did a great job getting to last night. Hard to hate for losing to the maybe soon to be 3 peat champs.... Quote
DapperCam Posted January 27 Posted January 27 When did Elway win his Super Bowls? This was supposed to be a retool year to get some cap relief. 1 Quote

Goin Breakdown Posted January 27 Posted January 27 What does it matter? Doesn't KC have to decline a lot for it to even matter what we do. Watch out for the bangles and ravens next year too. Quote

stlbills13 Posted January 27 Posted January 27 It's a good question but there isn't really an answer. The window is open as long as Josh is Josh. I don't like the whole idea that this was a reset year though. Nothing is ever guaranteed in the NFL. Win while you can. We could this year. We didn't. Or at least didn't win the one that mattered. But the window is still wide open as long as Josh is here. Quote
Ramza86 Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Window is always open......but not really because the Chiefs and refs will put an end to all hope. 1 Quote
