Toledo Bill Posted January 27 Posted January 27 As I read complaints about Allen's performance, I understand he did not play his best and everyone, of course has their right to opinions. "He choked", "he missed this, he missed that", etc. I understand and empathize with the frustration. i have been a Bills fan since their inception and he is the most athletically gifted quarterback I have ever seen in the NFL. I appreciate him as an athlete and as a person. My only point... complain and criticize him if you will, but once in a while take a breath and be thankful for the talent and heart we are witnessing from this generational person. He has brought so much joy and excitement to the organization and community. Critique all you want but appreciate what we have... where would this team be without him? Go Bills! 11 14 8 Quote
Allen2Moulds Posted January 27 Posted January 27 He started off erratic, almost like we were watching a diff QB, but settled in just before the half. I think we got grossly outcoached on both sides of the ball, but there is also a personal deficiency. 2 4 1 Quote
BillMafia716ix Posted January 27 Posted January 27 I Love Josh. I just want him to beat Mahomes when it counts. The past two years Josh has had the ball in his hands on final drive to win the game and he hasn’t come through. That’s the only complaint I have about him. 2 2 1 Quote
78thealltimegreat Posted January 27 Posted January 27 He was amped up and his ball was sailing but let’s face it this isn’t his fault and no other QB on the planet could even get this throw off 6 Quote

Outside of the first two drives where it was pretty clear Josh was dealing with some nerves, I think he played a pretty good game against a top tier defense that was disguising blitzes and changing coverages that would confuse many good NFL QBs. We were in position to tie or take the lead with 2:00 left in the game and had our 1st round TE caught what was not an overly tough catch for an NFL receiver, I believe the game is either going to overtime, or we're winning in regulation. 2 1 Quote

That was a protection break down that never happens to the Bills. It happened in the biggest moment of the game. Quote

You mean Kincaid dropped what was not a super difficult pass on 4th down with Josh having immediate pressure in his face. 2 1 Quote

I think the defense (and/or special teams) would let the Chiefs march down the field for another TD if there was more than ten seconds left on the clock. 1 Quote

Grossly out coached. IF that was the case, Bills lose by 30. Josh basically hold all playoff stat records except winning the Conference & SuperBowl... Quote

Chiefs would've needed a TD if we scored a TD and XP. We probably run the ball a couple times and don't leave any time left considering we had TO's. You'd probably be taking about a hail mary attempt by KC. Quote

Special teams were another job. 3 blocks in back. 2 iffy, 1 definitely. Quote

Like Hail Mary's ever work against the Bills... Quote

Bills should have never been in that position. They should have been up at least a score at the time. They should have never fumbled, ooops I mean refs bad spot, to open the 4th Quarter. Just now, US Egg said: The Bills blinked more than the Chiefs. Felt like that most of the game. Is unfairly turning ball over a "blink?" Quote

I think they actually learned from the Rodgers one because I can't remember who it was against, but they had Keon and I think Mack out on the field as defenders instead of just some short DBs. Quote
