Josh misread the defense presnap and shifted the protection to left and the Chiefs came right. Shakir was wide open. Kincaid gotta make the catch for sure but Josh made the play harder than it needed to be. It was basically a jump ball 1 1 Quote

Bray Wyatt Posted Monday at 07:24 PM Posted Monday at 07:24 PM I feel like Reid doesnt really gameplan against us in the regular season. He uses it to see how McD will play him, thus giving him an advantage when we meet again. It in turn forces us to do something different the second time. 1 1 Quote

It was basically a jump ball Ocyrus Torrence said the chiefs show blitz from one side then blitz from the other, so this wasnt a mistake on Josh as that's the protection he had been making. Spags just tricked him and he still over came the rush, other players need to step up. Quote
quincy Posted Monday at 07:25 PM Posted Monday at 07:25 PM Apparently KC can beat opponents in third gear during the regular season, including special teams bailing them out when needed in the clutch. We did stop their undeafeated season but not their march to the Super Bowl. We need to beat Andy Reid, Steve Spagnuolo, Travis Kelce, Chris Jones and Patrick Mahomes! Five first ballot hall of fame guys unfortunately, plus the Referees and Taylor Swift and yet we came within 3 points of forcing overtime. They are the better organization recently and we are still so close to them, we are still clutching at straws as to how to defeat them. For me, still the best performance against them was by Vita Vea in Super Bowl LV, the unsung hero of that game. Quote
BullBuchanan Posted Monday at 07:25 PM Posted Monday at 07:25 PM For the Chiefs and the Bills, the regular season is just pre-season. They're holding back their best plays, and players aren't giving it every last ounce they have. It's pretty apparent that playoff football is just a whole different animal, which is true in every sport. Guys run faster, hit harder and lay out for plays they otherwise wouldn't when it's all on the line. 1 1 Quote

That’s what I’ve been saying…there really isn’t this big difference between the regular season and playoff games outside of a play or two…Allen had the cold blooded scramble on 4th down in the regular season which kind of forced K.C. into desperation mode and they turned it over. if the game flow was a little different they probably score high 20s in that one then on top of that take away the bills best corner and replace the chiefs worst corner with Watson and the results make sense. Thought our oline would push them around a little more and when they didn’t I figured we’d get blown out but we hung in there 1 Quote
All_Pro_Bills Posted Monday at 07:27 PM Posted Monday at 07:27 PM Playing the 1st place schedule and the Chiefs every year might be adding to the problem in the playoffs. I'm beginning to think it gives Reid and his staff a lot of valuable game experience in understanding and planning for what the Bills do and what weaknesses they can target. I mean did anyone see any major differences in what the Bills did vs. a couple months ago in the regular season? 1 Quote

I was thinking earlier this year that we should do this and let them win and then pull out all the stops in the playoffs. 1 Quote

nucci Posted Monday at 07:35 PM Posted Monday at 07:35 PM You can't do the same things you do in the regular season. Have to add new stuff and we don't 1 Quote

I think what he’s saying is no one went in motion with Shakir so Josh thought zone and thus Shakir did not become an option as an outlet. On man coverage he’d be first read. So Spags called the perfect D, Brady called a predictable play, and Josh was stuck in between. Quote

Maybe we dont make enough adjustments in the post season? Bottom line The refs don't blatantly make game changing calls that go the Chiefs way in the regular season games It already hard to beat the Chiefs but beating the Chiefs and refs is damn near impossible Quote

The play was made by Josh. The only other guy in the league probably making that throw was on the other sideline. Josh did his part. A catchable ball. There’s nothing else to it man, made up for his mistake if you will. 1 Quote
C.Biscuit97 Posted Monday at 07:51 PM Posted Monday at 07:51 PM Because the chiefs are on complete cruise control during the season and don’t really care. we also are a very good team as well. 24 minutes ago, All_Pro_Bills said: Playing the 1st place schedule and the Chiefs every year might be adding to the problem in the playoffs. They also play a 1st place schedule in a division with 2 playoff teams and us every year too. We easily can do the same thing. Quote
