Generic_Bills_Fan Posted Monday at 07:04 PM Posted Monday at 07:04 PM (edited) As much as people will say it’s an excuse and I totally get that because you’ve gotta find a way past it: a big issue the last few years has been defensive injuries. There’s almost always a top tier DB from the regular season matchup with them that misses the playoff matchup or is playing very injured and the chiefs have been real healthy down the stretch the last few years. BillMafia716ix Posted Monday at 07:06 PM Posted Monday at 07:06 PM Those regular season games don’t mean shyt. Playoffs everything is magnified. Your stars need to play like stars. The Bills issue just like all the other times we’ve played the Chiefs and lost. No WR and no pass rush. Despite all that our MVP QB simply has to deliver. Two years in a row now Josh has had the ball in his hands on the final drive to win both games and came up short. In the end That’s what separates Mahomes from Allen. Mahomes is not going to make mistakes and he always makes the winning play when his team needs it. Sucks to say it but that’s what it is. 1 1 1 Quote

Don't run with it until it really matters. Mahomes really couldn’t run for a lot of the year because their tackle play was so bad that the pocket was getting collapsed from all angles all the time. Things got better for them in the passing game when they swung thuney to tackle but it sorta hurt the run game which seemed to show up yesterday Quote

And a lot of that has to do with getting the best record and the bye. I don't think you can overemphasize what their schedule meant to them. Christmas Day win. Rest starters the next week against the Broncos. Playoff bye. Next game: Houston in the divisional round on January 18. Any important player saw no meaningful game action for 24 days. More than a 3 week "bye." No rust, just a lot of rested and healthy players. 1 Quote
TrentEdwardsCheckDownOn4th Posted Monday at 07:12 PM Posted Monday at 07:12 PM Mcdermott was reids assistant or coordinator for over a decade at Philadelphia. What do you think? 1 Quote

Regular season success is crazy huge I don’t get why it gets downplayed here…getting the 1 seed with additional rest is pretty much unheard of Quote

DabillsDaBillsDaBills Posted Monday at 07:18 PM Posted Monday at 07:18 PM Chiefs (O-line in particular) commit a ton of penalties that get called in the regular season, but go un-called in the playoffs. 1 1 Quote
