Having a deep ball in the 4th quarter two years in a row dropped vs the chiefs in the playoffs is just a kick in the nuts. Hope he is great next year. on this board I’ve been saying he was not 100% when he came back after missing games but folks on here were crapping on him. Quote

I would prefer Knox, who's a better blocker than Dalton anyway, than having a gimped Kincaid on the field. I had more faith in Knox to make a big catch this season. He had that amazing one-hander against Detroit. Another decision I'll never understand. Quote
Brand J Posted Monday at 08:05 PM Posted Monday at 08:05 PM Kincaid will be fine, he’ll be going home with his millions and maybe a smoking hot chick on his arm, while “all y’all will be going back to your little jobs.” 1 4 1 Quote

This is what we should expect from OUR defense. I hear ya- but it’s turned out that building a great culture has been his greatest attribute as a HC. That’s why he’s here now imo. Not because of his defensive prowess. He’s no Spags when it comes to defensive play calling 1 1 Quote

Yesterday lost by 3. Shocking. Translation: His Ds don't get stomped. 1 Quote

More poor coaching decisions. Indeed. And they have both been carbon copy below average and not worth a third of what they are being paid! Like so many similar position players, they are also in the bottom third of game output. Simply put, they are not and have not been very good! More Beane failures… Chumpionship not Championship players! 1 Quote
Jay_Fixit Posted Monday at 08:44 PM Posted Monday at 08:44 PM Travis Henry played with a broken leg. It's football. Catch the ***** ball, guy. 2 Quote
Livinginthepast Posted Monday at 08:48 PM Posted Monday at 08:48 PM The injury makes his unimpressive season understandable. But it has nothing to do with dropping that catch. Had he not been able to get back to it after it was thrown behind him I get it , but he did get back to it and had arms on the ball. He also could have bread basket caught it as well. But that seems to be an old school technique that is lost on many of todays players. But whats stupid about all this and very Billsy if this is true, is why, if he had such a bad injury was he on the field? How can you be effective if your PCL is torn? Kincaid obviously was worse for wear this year. They should have shut him down and got him surgery. They have Quintin Morris as well who could have backed up Dawson Knox who has been superior to Kincaid this year anyway. All around , bad personnel management! Quote

But would a torn PCL in the knee, make the turn back to the ball extra challenging? I have no idea personally. Add to that his momentum was carrying him away form the ball. I'm not a doctor, (but did stay at Holiday Inn) so can confirm that would make it even harder to get to the ball. 1 Quote

The Frankish Reich Posted Monday at 09:29 PM Posted Monday at 09:29 PM Man, rough crowd. His buddy Knox tells Wawrow, “you know, he did play on a torn PCL all year.” And the response is “stop making excuses, Kincaid!” Quote

What's the point of those fancy, sticky gloves if you don't even use them! Instead he let it bounce off his arms. Yeah, I have feeling they don't practice low balls as much as they should, but understandable as less are thrown there. Still, he knows how to do it. Maybe he just misjudged it. Quote

YodaMan79 Posted Monday at 10:05 PM Posted Monday at 10:05 PM (edited) If you've ever played a sport beyond the high school level, you'd know that once the season starts, you're never truly healthy. The coaching staff often resorts to the familiar "are you injured or just hurt?" rhetoric. At this level, it’s not about the love of the game anymore—it’s about results. Injury or no injury, the only thing anyone remembers is the outcome. In this case, he was in position to make the play, and that’s what matters. On a side note, I’m sure Allen is dealing with more than just a broken hand right now, and the only reason we even know about it is because of his high-profile status. That said, I’d conservatively estimate that at least one-third of the league is playing through significant injuries. This is why the average NFL career lasts less than 3–4 years. Enough with the injury excuses—it’s just part of the game. I've wrestled with kids who were amazing athletes with PCL tears, missing ACLs and other debilitating injuries who performed at all-American status in a much more demanding forum. Sorry if I'm not sympathetic to an overhyped and over drafted millionaire who came up short. 30 minutes ago, Bruce Smith Va Tech 78 said: You’re joking right?
