DapperCam Posted Monday at 07:23 PM Posted Monday at 07:23 PM I would say that catch was easier than the Diggs drop last year. Diggs was in a full sprint and had to catch a bomb over his head. Kincaid had to come back to the ball and catch it like an outfielder. It really reminds me of the Charles Clay drop against the Dolphins. Same situation where it’s a desperation heave and the TE has to take a few steps to adjust and just can’t do it. 3 3 Quote

Buffalo Dude Posted Monday at 07:25 PM Posted Monday at 07:25 PM If only we had another TE of the same skill set, size, talent and initials who could’ve caught that ball instead Quote

Makes great play calls in huge spots and they help win them games. We’re playing an all time dynasty and coming up just short. While it some say it’s an indictment of McDermott not being good enough- some may say it’s just Reid and Spags being better than everyone else. We’ll find out in 2 weeks. I think the matchups favor Philly. Coaching matchup KC - but Fangio is interesting That's my major problem with McDermott. The guy was hired based on his defensive prowess. This is what we should expect from OUR defense. 2 1 Quote

There is no indication that it was fully severed(unlikely though) and not even mention of whether it will require surgery(which also wouldn't necessarily mean it was a full tear but would at least support the notion that it was a higher grade of strain, which we all should have thought given his slow return anyway). It's always a slippery slope for the team or teammates to float this BS out there. If it's torn entirely he could easily just choose to play the rest of his career without it. Whole lotta' stars played most of their careers without certain knee ligaments including a bunch of HoF'ers. He just needs to take his lumps for his drop like Tyler Bass did his miss last year, own it and decide if he wants to be an NFL star or accept that he is just a guy out there and cash those checks. He needs to find a way to add a layer of toughness this offseason. Both physically and mentally. He still seems like a college kid intimidated by the physicality of NFL defenses. Toughen up! 1 Quote
Roundybout Posted Monday at 07:32 PM Posted Monday at 07:32 PM Then put him on IR. I don’t give a ***** if he was playing through a collapsed lung. That is detrimental to the team. 1 Quote

He drafted because of his hands and it makes the coaching staff look even more stupid on that 4th down tush-push because they had him trying to block and push Allen ahead. 2 Quote

That would've been a legendary play if Dalton can make a basic basket catch. All I know is compared to Reid & Spags, McDermott and his coordinators are children. Brady didn't bring his A game either. The infatuation with the sneak/tush push was maddening. Some of the other play calling was very questionable too including the fade to Coleman on the 3rd down against McDuffie before the 4th down toss to Samuel. I couldn't believe what I was watching on that play. 2 1 Quote

Our guy is not a finesse thrower of the football. 1 Quote

Donuts and Doritos Posted Monday at 07:44 PM Posted Monday at 07:44 PM Dawson, when you wait to tell us after you loose it's just an excuse. This team's full of them. (Coin flip in OT decided it. We were injured. It was a rebuilding year.) Can't wait for next year's excuse. Instead, try drafting, coaching & playing better & stop chocking in the biggest games. Then you won't need excuses. 3 Quote

I was not a fan of throwing at McDuffie, especially on low percentage throws like that. McDuffie was in great position as well. Edited Monday at 07:46 PM by Billz4ever Quote

Its not likely we don't have another highly paid TE on the roster yea, it’s not like he’s been so great that we can’t give his reps to Knox and say cooper The real spot this could sting is when we had him as the pusher for Josh after failing 3 times. We race to the line to do it with a guy with a bad knee? I don’t know what a torn pick does for strength and confidence in the knee but it sure pops in my head as a curiosity with him pushing a guy that’s sliding around on a wall of people 1 1 Quote
