Josh misread the defense presnap and shifted the protection to the left and the Chiefs came right. That’s on him. Granted Kincaid gotta catch that ball but Josh was rattled that entire last drive.

Two years in a row Josh had the ball in his hands on the final drive of the game to take the lead and he didn’t come through. I love Josh but I gotta call a spade a spade.

Rattled the whole drive is a stretttttch.  The 1st down play after his big scramble was bad but that was pretty much it outside of the final play debate.  Samuel ran a nice route on 2nd and was open for a good gain but the ball got batted.  3rd down was the bubble screen that was set up well but cooper slipped and brown looked like he fell down. 4th down play was discussed to death obviously lol

really the only bad play was on 1st down…not sure what happened there.  Looked kind of like a throwaway or miscommunication

He shouldn't have been out there.

It's never a good idea to play through injury, I don't care what anybody says.  It ruins careers (Cam, Dez, etc)

Bruh, catch the ball.  it’s right there served up for you.

MAN...................... If Kincaid catches that ball, imagine the narrative today about Josh Allen, along with our (potential) joy.    UGH

For the receiver to make the catch, yeah. But that is an 11 on the difficulty meter as far as QB play is concerned. It was incredible that Josh even saw a guy to throw to, let alone actually putting it in the receiver’s hands while under that much duress.

Oh yes, I was commenting on Kincaid not Josh. for Josh to make that throw under that pressure is incredible. He needed a guy to make a play, not an extraordinary play, just a slightly tougher than average play, for him and his guy failed.

It was below the waist and I'd say at knee or thigh level so it wasn't like he was trying to pick it off the turf.  Problem is he tried to arm/basket catch it instead of using his hands.  He was in position because it was a long pass so he could track it.   Very catchable ball that should have been caught.   Can't agree with you that he made some massive adjustment or that it was hard to catch for a pro football player.

That's what I said when I first saw it. He needs to use his hands! What's the point of those fancy, sticky gloves if you don't even use them! Instead he let it bounce off his arms.

A sprained ligament is a tear.  We knew this when it happened in Indy.   Not news.

He also dropped a contested throw earlier in the game on second down and dropped a drive killer against Baltimore the week before.   This dude was supposed to have the best hands in his draft class.   That sh!t is inexcusable for a first round, receive-only TE.

Differing degrees tho...a tear when used in that context usually means a full tear

OOF!

Seeing the play from that angle was tough. Amazing that Allen got the ball to him, and he was wide open!

I'm not going to hate on Kincaid, and say he's the reason we lost. Hope he comes back better and healthier next season.

This is one of the biggest keys to our offseason.  He and Keon need to take a step.

From top to bottom we have nobody outside Allen who can perform in crunch time. Absolutely nobody else. It's infuriating

The play is certainly a microcosm of the entire org and Josh.

Blocking breaks down immediately. 2nd round pick on the OL blocks air. Josh makes a 1 in a million throw with 3 defenders on him. Hits our first round pick in the hands and drops it.

Story of the last 5 years of Bills football. Sad.

I give Keon a little more slack than Dalton seeing this was his rookie season, but not much.

Dalton now going into year 3 and didn't produce as much as Tucker Kraft in GB did, taken in the 3rd round of the same draft class.

Agreed.  He and Josh just aren’t in sync and like @BADOLBILZsaid- he’s soft.  😞

Josh said it was on him in the interview.

Josh got fooled by the D call.  Spags disguised the blitz perfectly making it look like the pressure was coming from the other side. You can see Bolton on the clip posted threatening blitz up the middle and then backed out into coverage. It's a game of cat and mouse and Spags got the call correct.  Crazy part is Josh still was able to beat it and it should've moved the chains.

It is.  It’s also a microcosm of Spags.  This is what he does.  Makes great play calls in huge spots and they help win them games.  We’re playing an all time dynasty and coming up just short.  While it some say it’s an indictment of McDermott not being good enough-  some may say it’s just Reid and Spags being better than everyone else.  We’ll find out in 2 weeks.  I think the matchups favor Philly.  Coaching matchup KC - but Fangio is interesting

Obviously a newish Bills fan if you think having the ball deep in Chiefs territory would translate into a win.

Well... I'm not sure who the call was on, but I know Cybo blocked no one while two Chiefs players came in the RG-RT gap...

The old Jerry Hughes excuse! Do nothing all year then claim you were playing through injury. If an injury makes you that ineffective, you need to not play.

But it could have…..I’m not new.  If Kincaid caught the ball- we had a decent chance to get points on the board.
