Well he was running for his life because he was fooled. But... the drop is horrible from the angle. It has to be taken.

Line was absolutely supposed to slide right

Thats on Allen or McGovern

I hadn't seen it from that angle. It's even worse. That is no more than a 6/10 for difficulty by NFL standards

For the receiver to make the catch, yeah. But that is an 11 on the difficulty meter as far as QB play is concerned. It was incredible that Josh even saw a guy to throw to, let alone actually putting it in the receiver’s hands while under that much duress.

Bruh, catch the ball.  it’s right there served up for you.

That's tough to watch but equally as bad as the drop is the protection, which clearly shifts left. Result was both of our guards not putting a hand on anyone and two defenders with a free run at Allen.

Not sure who is at fault for that, but the play was doomed from the start.

The play call worked, if protection holds Josh has three guys wide open for a first.

Just brutal.

Josh misread the defense presnap and shifted the protection to the left and the Chiefs came right. That’s on him. Granted Kincaid gotta catch that ball but Josh was rattled that entire last drive.

Two years in a row Josh had the ball in his hands on the final drive of the game to take the lead and he didn’t come through. I love Josh but I gotta call a spade a spade.

Josh may not have even been able to see him, at least not very well. He knew where he was supposed to be.  Once again, the supporting cast lets him down.

Correct me if I'm wrong but wouldn't Kincaid need to be on the injury list if he had an injury? Wouldn't the Bills get in trouble for not listing him? Unless there's some kind of loophole where he's not getting treatment so he doesn't need to be listed or something

Frank Lewis played his 6 years with BUF 1978-1983 with no PCL in one of his Knees.  269 catches for 4638 yards and 24 TDs with Bills.  He would have caught it!

Maybe that explains the lack of utilization but again… any of us that played backyard football could’ve caught that pass.

Honestly it's too bad that was not Ty Johnson going for the ball...he has the best ground catch game I have ever seen

Torrence on this play -- oof. Looks even worse from this angle. WTAF is he thinking??

Literally blocked nobody that play, but that's what a Spags defense will do to an o-line at times. Unfortunately, it was on 4th down.

A sprained ligament is a tear.  We knew this when it happened in Indy.   Not news.

He also dropped a contested throw earlier in the game on second down and dropped a drive killer against Baltimore the week before.   This dude was supposed to have the best hands in his draft class.   That sh!t is inexcusable for a first round, receive-only TE.

I think Quintin Morris catches it. I really do.

From top to bottom we have nobody outside Allen who can perform in crunch time. Absolutely nobody else. It's infuriating

That would explain a lot. I still believe that Kincaid will be a great TE for the Bills.

He’ll be lucky to be as good as Scott Chandler. Buffalo should’ve went after Hockenson when he was available or drafted LaPorta. Kincaid is approaching bust level. When has he ever showed off that great athleticism and made any amazing grabs downfield ? Or a 100 yard game ? I don’t recall any. He better make a massive leap in year 3. Seems like Beane has been terrible at those late first round picks. I wish they would bring in a consultant strictly for the early picks and let Beane handle the later rounds & free agency.

Allen could have walked that ball down there and flipped the ball into Dalton Kincaids outstretched hands from 5 yards away.  It was not a hard catch.  I mean it was incredible to get that pass off and put it right there where no KC player was standing.  SMH.

Good lord, what an athlete Allen is. The other 31 quarterbacks in the league--including His Saintlihood--would have been sacked on that play and likely fumbled. Allen not only gets off the pass, he throws a ball downfield that bounces off his receivers arms. That is just extraordinary.

Back to the 24-7 coverage about what how great Mahomes is....
