The Firebaugh Kid Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Maybe that explains the lack of utilization but again… any of us that played backyard football could’ve caught that pass. 5 3 3 3 1 1 Quote
MikePJ76 Posted January 27 Posted January 27 it was obvious he never really recovered and was gutting it out. still disagree with all the people who are down on him but I wish he would have caught that ball. Having a deep ball in the 4th quarter two years in a row dropped vs the chiefs in the playoffs is just a kick in the nuts. Hope he is great next year. 3 1 Quote
YodaMan79 Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Does the lingering knee issue make his hands go to sh!t? Poll the whole NFL at this time of the year. I suspect 1/3 of the players on the field are in rough shape. 4 1 1 Quote
SCBills Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Ok, that helps explain his down year and lack of use. He still dropped the pass that effectively ended our season. I'm not going to go overboard about it, but its not "dumping on someone" to be frustrated that he couldn't make that play with our Super Bowl hopes on the line. 1 Quote
vanislebills44 Posted January 27 Posted January 27 tuff, im sympathetic, but a pro should make that catch....no ifs ands or buts... 1 3 1 Quote

But would a torn PCL in the knee, make the turn back to the ball extra challenging? I have no idea personally. 1 Quote

appoo Posted January 27 Posted January 27 It was a wobbly pass that needed a big adjustment and technically difficult because of how short it was to him. Kincaid himself will tell you he dropped a ball he should have caught but no that’s not remotely an easy ball. They caught the bills by total surprise with that blitz and Allen still handled it. Kincaid made a tremendous adjustment but couldn’t pull it off in the end 2 1 1 Quote

Kincaid made a tremendous adjustment but couldn’t pull it off in the end It was below the waist and I'd say at knee or thigh level so it wasn't like he was trying to pick it off the turf. Problem is he tried to arm/basket catch it instead of using his hands. He was in position because it was a long pass so he could track it. Very catchable ball that should have been caught. Can't agree with you that he made some massive adjustment or that it was hard to catch for a pro football player. 2 Quote
uticaclub Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Then he shouldn’t have been on the field. Its not likely we don't have another highly paid TE on the roster 4 4 2 1 Quote
