Yes, I do. At least in the beginning of games. That’s who Allen is. He gets himself too hyped up in big games. It takes him a little to settle down. Whereas Mahomes is ready to go in big games from the get go. That’s not coaching or anything external. It’s their personality. One has his emotions under control at all times and the other not so much.

Reid eased Mahomes into the game with easy passes and a run game. Where was it with Josh? I can only think Cook had an injury issue, the lack of use last night. He was toasting them when he had the chance.

Sean trading the Mahomes pick to Andy will go down as the worst trade in NFL history if it isn’t already.

These two guys have been starting for 7 years. They’ve been in multiple big games. They don’t need to be eased into games. Allen starts the game throwing to KC defenders. All because of jitters. That’s just how he’s wired. When he really wants a game his emotions sometimes get the best of him. The Houston game is year was the same way.

Houston because of Diggs.

Yesterday because of the prize.

From the second drive onwards he had settled but a lack of run game in the first half is a concern nonetheless.

When is this going to stop? It's patently false.

Mahomes outplayed Allen AGAIN yesterday,a nd he looked cool as a cucumber doing it. The game has never been too big for him - not once. Mahomes is in a tier of 1 right now and in a tier of 2 all-time. It's him and Brady - that's it.

Mahomes outplayed our defense yesterday... again. Do you think he would have looked as cool as a cucumber going against KC's defense? Or that Allen would have had difficulty facing that McDermott/Babich defense? Allen had the tougher task yesterday, hands down.

At this point, realizing the only way his team is going to win the game is if he plays nearly flawless probably has something to do with that.

That's the formula for most teams who want to win a ring, and it's what Mahomes does every playoffs. You want to beat the best, you have to be the best.

I mean, on top of losing seemingly every year to kc in the playoffs, the bills gave kc the pick to get Mahomes. Granted, who knew he'd become what he has, but what a kick in the groin. I am not saying we should've taken Mahomes, I love Josh, but man what may have been had we not traded that pick. And the the bills did the same thing with worthy this past year. Not that worthy was really anything great this season, but him having over 100 yards and a td last night is another kick in the groin. Happy Monday everyone! I'm still pissed

Yeah, that was flawless execution on the fumble last night. He has the benefit of a defense that can cover for any few mistakes he might make AND that can close a game, we don't.

Agree, that was the old standard. Once considered unbeatable. 3-0 in Super Bowls for Cowboys. 3-1 for Chiefs. On their way to 5th Super Bowl in 7 years and QB is still under 30.

Never forget this gem. This is all our fault (well not mine).

Mahomes isn't the Mahomes we know now if he comes here... KC is a dramatically superior organization. Not sure we could even win a SB with Mahomes.

Wrong. Maybe the coach who traded up for him knew he was great. It’s hilarious how fans try to take away from his greatness. His college numbers were insane. Reid saw that talent and moved up to select him when he a solid nfl starter already.

Allen was way rawer than Mahomes and he got drafted by a playoff team. He got the same OC for 4 years and we made a lot of moves to help him develop. The Bills have been a great organization since McBeane took over and some fans act like we are the Raiders. It couldn’t be more wrong.

Just more excuses. That'll get ya a ring I'm sure.

Agreed. That’s the point. Realizing that and letting it affects your play is something he hasn’t learned to fully control.

Some fans just don’t want to see it. There’s a reason we’re 0-4 against KC in the playoffs.

Football is a team game. Mahomes is a great great QB but if Mahomes and Allen switched teams, the Chiefs would still be going to the Superbowl and the Bills would still have lost.

They have way better talent including handful of elite player along with a great offensive mind in Reid and great defensive playoff assistant. Allen deserves better,  you can look at dropped pass by Kincaid,  dropped pass last year by Diggs or biggest playoff collapse in 13 secs

Most great HC's do not continue to run same tush push play on 4th down when the other team is stopping,  they try something different
