I'm still a bit pissed off. Now that I've seen the replays multiple times, it is no doubt that the refs influenced this game.  The NFL is fixed and that is upsetting to me. I love this game, played this game and am a lifelong fan of this game, and the Bills.

3rd down. Refs cheat the spot. 4th down, multiple Chiefs are lined up in the neutral zone. The DT is literally over the ball. He crashes over McGovern as soon as his hand moves to snap. NO CALL.

Chiefs 3rd and long. Mahomes under pressure, throws up a prayer. The ball clearly touches the ground without full possession by the receiver. Call on field is completion. Replay shows the ball hitting the ground. NO CALL. And there were a lot of other infractions the Chiefs were never called for. They know this and they play the game to their advantage.

I know everyone says if we played better and made plays, we win. But the truth is that those 2 plays alone are a 10-14pt swing in favor of Buffalo. When two great teams play each other, whoever gets that advantage is going to win. And guess who got it.

A friend of mine (33) is mentally just a kid.

I have known him for his whole life. Awesome man but he switched teams every year sometimes multiple times. One SB he was rooting for one team and by halftime he informed me he is switching sides.

I think he is on to something. He never loses and never gets disappointed. He is always smiling and high fiving at the end of the game.

I'm in a bad mental spot. I'm sure many of you are.

What are you doing to get out of it? No sarcastic responses, please.

We can make any excuses we want - the refs, the defense, McDermott, etc. - but the fact is they were so close... again... and same result. It feels pointless to continue as a fan.

 - One day of mourning, that's it. Ghosted everyone yesterday. Didn't answer any calls or return any texts. Tried checking in here but was just too down so one comment on the bad spot and checked out. Paid my taxes since the day was going the suck anyways, no sense in letting that ruin another. Listened to sad songs for a couple hours. Guess what, I'm tired of feeling down. Life can be put in two categories, important stuff and unimportant stuff. While football is at the top of my list of unimportant stuff, that's where it should be. If you've let it sneak in to the important stuff category, time to reevaluate. Good lord willing my aunt, the last survivor of the previous generation, turns 100 next month. Both my parents lived past that age as well. Health, family, having a few bucks left at the end of the month rather than a few days left at then end of your money, those are the important categories.

Like life itself, being a Bills fan is about the journey, not the destination. This season was a fun ride while it lasted. Way more ups than downs. I get that the final down was pretty low. Time to move on. You'll be fine, you'll be back.

Simply put, just moving on with life and being thankful for where I am and what I have.  The loss stinks, it really does, and it's frustrating to watch the Bills come up short yet again, but, there are people in this world who are going through way worse.  If watching my team lose a heartbreaking game is the worst thing I'm going through right now I'm pretty lucky.

The NCAA Tournament and Baseball are coming up soon as well so that helps.
