BILLS 4 EVER Posted January 28 Posted January 28 I'm still a bit pissed off. Now that I've seen the replays multiple times, it is no doubt that the refs influenced this game. The NFL is fixed and that is upsetting to me. I love this game, played this game and am a lifelong fan of this game, and the Bills. 3rd down. Refs cheat the spot. 4th down, multiple Chiefs are lined up in the neutral zone. The DT is literally over the ball. He crashes over McGovern as soon as his hand moves to snap. NO CALL. Chiefs 3rd and long. Mahomes under pressure, throws up a prayer. The ball clearly touches the ground without full possession by the receiver. Call on field is completion. Replay shows the ball hitting the ground. NO CALL. And there were a lot of other infractions the Chiefs were never called for. They know this and they play the game to their advantage. I know everyone says if we played better and made plays, we win. But the truth is that those 2 plays alone are a 10-14pt swing in favor of Buffalo. When two great teams play each other, whoever gets that advantage is going to win. And guess who got it. 1 Quote
Bullfrog Posted January 28 Posted January 28 A friend of mine (33) is mentally just a kid. I have known him for his whole life. Awesome man but he switched teams every year sometimes multiple times. One SB he was rooting for one team and by halftime he informed me he is switching sides. I think he is on to something. He never loses and never gets disappointed. He is always smiling and high fiving at the end of the game. 1 1 Quote

We can make any excuses we want - the refs, the defense, McDermott, etc. - but the fact is they were so close... again... and same result. It feels pointless to continue as a fan. re What are you doing to get out of it? - One day of mourning, that's it. Ghosted everyone yesterday. Didn't answer any calls or return any texts. Tried checking in here but was just too down so one comment on the bad spot and checked out. Paid my taxes since the day was going the suck anyways, no sense in letting that ruin another. Listened to sad songs for a couple hours. Guess what, I'm tired of feeling down. Life can be put in two categories, important stuff and unimportant stuff. While football is at the top of my list of unimportant stuff, that's where it should be. If you've let it sneak in to the important stuff category, time to reevaluate. Good lord willing my aunt, the last survivor of the previous generation, turns 100 next month. Both my parents lived past that age as well. Health, family, having a few bucks left at the end of the month rather than a few days left at then end of your money, those are the important categories. re It feels pointless to continue as a fan. Like life itself, being a Bills fan is about the journey, not the destination. This season was a fun ride while it lasted. Way more ups than downs. I get that the final down was pretty low. Time to move on. You'll be fine, you'll be back. Quote
Talley56 Posted January 28 Posted January 28 Simply put, just moving on with life and being thankful for where I am and what I have. The loss stinks, it really does, and it's frustrating to watch the Bills come up short yet again, but, there are people in this world who are going through way worse. If watching my team lose a heartbreaking game is the worst thing I'm going through right now I'm pretty lucky. The NCAA Tournament and Baseball are coming up soon as well so that helps. 1 1 Quote

BADOLBILZ Posted February 8 Posted February 8 Go Chiefs! People who think Chiefs fans are bad have NO IDEA how annoying Philly fans will be if they win again. It might even make them more likely to return to the SB and a tougher out in the event that Buffalo gets there. Eagles fans used to cry about losing that SB to Brady........then they avenged that. Avenging their loss to Mahomes will make them insufferable and create another bandwagon franchise in the region to poach potential Bills fans. I don't really get people wanting the Chiefs to lose so badly.........why does it matter? Are people under the delusion that the Bills are going to catch the Steelers, Patriots, 49ers (or even Chiefs) as the most successful franchises of the SB era? Almost zero chance of that. Be concerned about things that tangibly matter. Like battling the Eagles and Jersey teams for fans 75 miles or more east of the stadium. 1 Quote

The Eagles are the most horrible, insufferable, despisable franchise in the NFL. I cheered for the Patriots in two Superbowls. I'd cheer for Miami. I'd cheer for the Jets. Anyone. And I do mean ANYONE over the Eagles. Edited February 9 by GunnerBill 1 Quote

Why would I care about a "fan" who would change their allegiance on a dime, or hop on any bandwagon as long as it was in their general region? Philly can have those kinds of fans. Chiefs fans are incredibly annoying in their own right - especially about Josh Allen. It's really never enough for them that Mahomes is perceived as the best - they have to (in general) trash Allen and try to diminish what he has done. Tonight is a no brainer for me. I want Philly in the most lopsided blowout imaginable. Quote

BADOLBILZ Posted February 9 Posted February 9 Yeah it's weird how some Bills fans are rooting for those assh0les out of pointless spite. It's like "yeah let the most annoying fan base in football become another obstacle to the Bills winning a SB". Very shortsighted. I want Jalen Hurts to be 0-2 in SB's. I know how that story plays out in round 3. Teams get over long time obstacles in-conference......less so after losing SB's. Those tend to become self-fulfilling. Quote
Jerry Jabber Posted February 9 Posted February 9 Moved on. Will be watching a movie or show tonight instead of the Superbowl. Tired of the biased officiating towards the Chiefs. Quote

I think what the Eagles are accomplishing is being undersold Being in 2 of the last 3 SBs while your coach is apparently always in danger of getting fired and 3 of the last 8 is very impressive 1 Quote
