His name was not called once last night. They did show him briefly walking the sidelines in the 2nd half.

Talk about a total waste of a roster spot. Can you image if we had Myles Garrett? 29 years old and in his prime.

Obvioulsy, Von has to go.

But at what cost/penalty?

He also got extremely held a few times with no call but that's neither here nor there

Guys get held on the time. Dude is just completely washed and stole money from us.

That seemed like your classic oline holding their a** off game that I expected which took some wind out of the sails of both pass rushes so I’d take dline results with a grain of salt …I assume we got away with some too.   Ed Oliver got held by his neck by Taylor that was definitely the highlight lol

kind of frustrating they called it that way seeing as the chiefs oline is a pretty big weakness but whatever.  Most bills chiefs games seem to get that treatment because the league wants a shootout im sure

Yeah, he sucks. All time awful signing. The Chiefs have garbage at OT and we couldn’t sniff Mahomes. Lack of big time pass rushers and receiving threats caught up to this team big time.

WR, CB, S, and DL are all huge priorities for us this year in no particular order.

The good news is we don’t have a lot of other big needs outside of that, so I’m hoping at least one splash move at one of those spots via trade or FA.

I said it when we signed him, he is on a 3 year deal disguised as a 6 year deal. That had some flexibility to become a 4 year deal, but at his age it was highly unlikely. Getting out of the deal before year 3 was nearly impossible due to cap hit and structure. He’ll be cut on the first day of the league year with a post 6/1 designation. I’ll post the cap consequences below.

not so---I was screaming "where's Von Miller" all night

Yeah I was gonna say I heard it mentioned all the time in the game day thread as people wondered aloud where he was and what he was doing 😅

When they showed Von watching the last series, it had the feeling that would be his last game before retiring.  He gave it a shot at coming back this season and in some way earning the huge contract we gave him, but I think he knows his time in the NFL is up.

I think you are right, I think he knows... maybe he goes back to Denver for one year... or someplace... but I think his time is done here... gonna be some critical moves in the offseason getting rid of Von seems like one of the easy ones... there will be much harder methinks...
