You're seriously citing the PRO BOWL? Russell Wilson was named to the Pro Bowl this year - what a credible way to evaluate his performance. You're flat-out wrong about Buffalo. I can name players too! CB Taron Johnson—All-Pro—taken in the 4th round in 2019. "D captain Nick Bolton"? How about D captain Terrel Bernard, whom Buffalo found in the 3rd round in 2022. Spencer Brown (3rd round), James Cook (2nd round) and Christian Benford (6th round). Should I continue? Because I can. Now, let's not even start on Trey Smith. He was a consensus top-3 round talent, but teams took him off their boards due to medical concerns. Want to tell me how medical evaluations work in pro sports? Be my guest—I promise one of us actually knows, and the other doesn’t. You want to call Greg Rousseau a reach at 30? Cool. What a wild way to evaluate someone who was a top-10 edge rusher in 2024. Speaking of "reaches," how’s Kingsley Suamataia doing? Didn’t he get benched for three different LT options? What’s Felix Anudike-Uzomah up to? His first two seasons are worse than Boogie Basham’s. But go ahead, hype up drafting Skyy Moore and Clyde Edwards-Helaire while you're at it. Fans like me can think rationally instead of spinning narratives to cope with not being Kansas City. Newsflash: I want to win too. I actually agree—good is the enemy of great. But that’s not the issue here. The real conversation? All-Time is the enemy of great. That’s the part you just can’t comprehend. In my opinion by far the biggest difference between the bills and chiefs is Chris Jones. (Outside of coaching) You put Chris Jones on the Bills and ed oliver on the chiefs this past game, and the Bills probably win And tying it back to the thread now- This is why the Bills got to do what it takes to get a Maxx crosby or Hendrickson Edited 2 hours ago by BillsFan130 Quote
78thealltimegreat Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Maxx Crosby was meant to play in Buffalo… If the Raiders are doing a full rebuild you ask them and they say what they want and then you say ok. 2 Quote

A few other college scouts and a director of college scouting And that's a big NFL group 1 Quote

Mark Vader Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago 2 minutes ago, jaybeezee said: Lol... there's quite a few that are still on the team, but please be my guest and enlighten me Ed Oliver is a good player. Devin Singletary was on the team for 4 seasons, he's no longer with us because we weren't going to pay him big money. He was a good RB for us. Dawson Knox is overpaid, but is hardly a JAG. Gabriel Davis had an early impact on the team, but faded because he wasn't the type of player that we could use long term. Tommy Doyle has had injuries, but has played well when called upon. May never be a starter, but is good for depth. Terrel Bernard is slow and short, but produces. A lot better than who we had at MLB prior to. 1 Quote

Might as well go watch something like checkers or tiddlywinks. That argument works when guys that clearly don’t deserve it are making it, but being that it’s a joke of a system and basically anyone with a heartbeat makes it, it’s pretty telling when not one of your picks has made it. I respect your opinion. If you read my post, I specified defensive players that Beane drafts. I hope I'm wrong and where not here talking about BBB and the same exact thing that we have for the last 4 years at least. Just now, jaybeezee said: Buddy... I dont wanna argue with you. May never be a starter, but is good for depth. Terrel Bernard is slow and short, but produces. A lot better than who we had at MLB prior to. You post says it all, you have one “good” player. Then Singletary wasn’t worth paying 2.5M for, so clearly wasn’t very good, the guy who was supposed to take his place also walk and both were paid less than the 3rd RB Beane brought in as a return specialist. Knox is over paid. Gabe Davis … meh not a bad 4th round pick if we are all being real honest, good #3/4 WR, just not the #1/2 they tried to make him. Doyle can’t get on the field Bernard is ok. So there’s the issue, a bunch of over paid and over drafted for the production you get. If Oliver was a 3rd round pick, that would be pretty good, a solid starter that makes a handful of flash plays a year. Unfortunately, he’s a top 10 pick on a rather rich contract. The RBs represent 4 day 2 picks to get one guy who’s better than replacement level. Knox is overpaid in your own words, Davis isn’t here, Doyle is a nobody and Bernard is “better than we had”, when the last guy got cut mid season by the Seahawks, that’s not exactly a ringing endorsement. Where are the guys that are actually difference makers? They don’t really exist outside of Allen and Cook. In the same time frame, KC has rebuilt their team 2x and is about to win 3 SBs in a row, or at very least 2 of the last 3 with a chance to win this one. Philly has also built through the draft and is back to the SB, so the whole “drafting too late in the draft” excuse just doesn’t work. Quote
