Tell me you didn’t read my first post without telling me you didn't read my first post 😆

You didn't say much except complain. There was no suggestion in your post. You said you're not calling for their heads then asked what else is out there.

Again, I ask:

So every play needs to be perfect and aren't allowed to have a bad play against a team that no one scored on this year? So forget the speed option on 4th and 1 that took more balls than any play call of the year?

So forget that fact that we were in position to win an AFCCG and had a key drop to lose the game?

This entire topic is about adding ideas WITHOUT firing either coordinator, and my suggestion was to add somebody on one or both sides of the ball who might be able to help with these situations.

All it takes is one idea better than what Brady had for those two point plays. That’s a small thing but the outcome could have been huge.

I asked who was out there who might fit the position of advisor without firing guys who won’t be fired. It’s hypothetical. If you don’t like this thought exercise you can leave the topic lol.

Why won't you answer my questions?

We don't need a new OC.. we have a very bright young mind who is in his early 30's. You are caught up on 2 pt conversions? So again I ask,

What about the ballsy call of a speed option on 4th and 1? What about us being a drop away (and Kincaid horrible spot) away from being in position to win that game? Where did the OC go wrong there? Any suggestions?

McD finally proved to me this season that he can adapt. Our biggest concern heading into the playoffs was run defense and he totally made that disappear with a roster we know isn’t good. We need to change the scheme and I think he WILL do that moving forward.

Beane is the elephant in the room right now and it might be time for a change. The dust has finally settled and we can see the problem now. Talent is the problem. Multiple 1st round busts.

McD is growing.

Beane is not.

I think that’s a fair point, but let me ask— do you think Beane is going rogue with his draft picks, or is he getting the type of players McDermott is asking him for?

OBD is difficult to assess this regime, because of how interconnected McBeane is as a tandem. Beane was literally brought on by his coach, after all.

I know Beane makes the selections, but surely he’s using McDermott’s criteria for what he wants. No?

Yup, I understand everything you’re saying and I now feel that Beane ISN’T delivering for McD. That’s how I was left feeling after McD’s post game presser.

McD's scheme seems rather delicate.  It falls apart quickly when you remove any piece from the starting lineup.  The lineup has changed a lot and the talent level has fluctuated but that trend has been consistent.

Agreed. We’ve seen coordinators on that side of the ball get just as ravaged by injury as Bills D has been in the past and do more with what they had left.

I think his pressure packages are incredibly weak. The contrast between McD and Spags is night and day, both with Jim Johnson disciples but for whatever reason McD can’t scheme up pressure to the same extent.

Of course if we had a Chris Jones that would help a lot, too.

This is what I assume is happening.

McD: Josh, what is the biggest thing you need to improve the offense and your game.

Josh: I need a guy with size that can grab inaccurate balls and make contested catches like the others QBs have.

Ok, great! I agree. Let’s go get that guy!

Then Beane brings McD a guy with a little size, is kinda slow, and plays as small as Shakir for the outside.

It isn’t Josh’s job to know if Coleman is too slow or plays small. It probably isn’t McD’s either. The problem is on Beane’s end and the evaluation process.
